These hinges seem robust and they matched very well to the hinge they were replacing that had broken, even the screw holes matched up. I over tightened a screw on the seat which unfortunately did crack the wood (my bad). The only comment I would make is the hinges do have a little more movement than I prefer. The seat moves a little and there is nothing to tighten to prevent this, it is the hinge itself.

Easy to fit but the middle of the disc pulls out.
Sadly the middle pulled out of one of the discs after only a week's use. This appears to be a weak point of this type of hinge design. Having never had the need to replace a seat hinge previously in 50 years, having changed seats a few years ago, hinges are now only usually lasting 6 months to a year. These though seemed very soft and it showed in their lack of longevity. Shame as they looked nice.
