Don’t put it we’re the top screws to bottom or it will get water in pinpointed.

I always kept fumbling for my pin pointer now it's right it should be I highly recommend it if you have the nokta makro pointer

the design of this product cracked my cover.
I ordered this product because I love the Nokta products and I didn't want to go cheap on my BRAND NEW Nokta pin pointer. Well, the design of this product caused the battery cover of my pin pointer to crack, and now it is no longer waterproof. To add insult to injury, I contacted Nokta through email to tell them about this, and I have yet to hear back from them. It has only been about 3-4 days, and I realize that might be too soon, so I will give it about a week before I try again. I will say that I hope that Nokta takes care of this problem for me, because I am a really big fan of my Nokta Macro Simplex as well as the Nokta pin pointer that I got to use only ONCE. I hope that they stand behind their products because that is what will keep me a customer!***edited to say that to date I have never heard back from Nokta, but I did fix my cover with gorilla glue. I’m careful not to get it wet, as I’m not sure it’s waterproof.

Your Nokta simplex already has a pinpointer holder
No need for this. If you look at the back of the armrest there's a slot. Insert your pinpointer in from the bottom. Holds your pinpointer in place! Save your money and it won't damage your pinpointer!
