Upgraded a BBQ060 model Traeger grill. My old controller 3 position (Smoke/med/high) switch was getting really flakey. Ordered this and installed it. Needed to modify the controller opening a bit using a jigsaw with a metal blade as the new controller is slightly larger in width so the opening needs to be about an 1/8” wider. Unit was plug and play other than modifying the opening and had to mount the RTD temp probe inside my unit as the Model BBQ060 does not have an RTD sensor. Pretty easy, just a couple holes drilled to mount it inside the grill and run the wires to the new controller. Maybe an hour to perform the upgrade and it fired up and worked. Old unit made new for a really affordable cost.

Works fantastic. Temperature accuracy has not been verified, but it does work. It would be nice to see labels on the wires to know which wire to connect to which motor. A little electrical knowledge will help you a long way, because your flying blind without it.

The part for the smoker worked great! We have used the smoker several times!

I have pretty old Traeger so not sure of model. Had to install twice because first try I realized this new circuit board has mailed that sticks out further on the back side. So I had to re-remove hopper and use hack saw to cut out a 1/2” corner of sheet metal where the fan sits so that the panel’s module could clear. Not too difficult, just be careful not to cut any wires. I’d rather do that then return and take my chances on another one. This was a good value.

I had to replace the Traeger front panel thermostat because it got wet and was not functional anymore. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money so I bought this Hisench panel. Fits perfectly, east to install, and above all-IT WORKS GREAT! Glad to be back smokin!

Installed easily and looks great but the main thing you would want out of this is for your temperatures to be on point or at least close. I’ve been messing with the P setting, double checking connections and changing the temperature setting but nothing works to keep this within a reasonable +/-100F. Unfortunately I’m outside my 1 month return window so I’ll have to eat the cost instead of getting my money back. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time and money unless you want your brisket to burn when you walk away for a few minutes thinking you finally got the temperature to hold. The whole point of a Traeger is peace of mind. Don’t ruin that with this POS.
