Quick Fix To Pass Loan Inspection Problem
Inspector wanted a crawl space door in the skirting of my dad's mobile. We were in the middle of the sale so I wanted to get it done fast. This door was the perfect answer. It's all plastic but strong. I cut the metal skirting, built a pressure treated 2X4 frame and then screwed everything back together. Got it done in 4 hours. It was nice that the door frame has a lip around it to slide behind the sheet metal. Didn't even bother to paint it. Passed the follow up inspection.

Very light weight, did not come with any screws, minimal instructions, and only one "key" (for as simplistic as key is, you would think at least 2 could be provided.) But I think it is OK the price, looks nice installed.

The actual size is larger than the description.
The panel is 20 x 25.75. Not 18 x 24,The skirting is 25.75 x 33.75I'll see if I can make it fit anyway before returning it.OK, I'm going to throw away the skirting and the keys, dig into the ground a couple of inches in front of the opening and and screw the panel itself into the wood around the opening.
