This little device made a big impact. I used it to convert some old VHS tapes to digital, and it worked perfectly. Setup was easy and the picture quality was better than I expected for such old footage. It’s been amazing to relive those family memories and share them with the next generation. If you’ve got old home videos lying around, this is a simple and affordable way to bring them back.

Basically, an adapter for devices that uses analog RCA composite (Yellow, White, Red) and converts it to HDMI for new/modern TVs that doesn’t support RCA cables. Does not work in reverse if you use new HDMI device on older TVs Great use for old video game consoles, DVD, VHS players that doesn’t use HDMI Transfer works fine, no stutters or glitches. Will not upscale the quality to 4k, 8k. Only able to get 480p,720p or 1080p quality. There’s a switch for 720p and 1080p quality. If the device you’re using is 720p or under, best to use 720p setting as 1080p setting will make the picture blurrer Only adapter is included with power adapter cable (Micro USB cable). Power adapter, HDMI cable and RCA cables not included. Overall works well. No need to keep that old tube TV

I bought this to convert the composite video of a Wii console to HDMI. The unit is well made and works but feels cheap compared to other units in metal enclosures (but also twice the price). It comes with a USB cable but not the adapter so it's inconvenient if you don't have a spare one laying around. This is just an adapter to convert RCA video connectors to an HDMI connector. It does not increase resolution or image quality. There is no difference between the 720p and 1080p settings because the quality is the same as the composite video. It's not true HD. So, if your TV has a composite input you might as well use that because the quality is exactly the same. If you don't, then this just allows you to use and available HDMI port on the TV. Their product description erroneously says "Making video come alive, delivering the sharpest, most realistic HD visuals available." , which is not true. However, they do add a note at the bottom that says this converts video transfer only and does not improve image quality, so that's saved then from totally misrepresenting the product.

Very easy to use, pretty much failsafe. It worked perfectly from the very first. So far I have used it for about 50 hours and it has yet to act up.

Has been working so far; have had no video or audio errors with what I have been using this for so I am incredibly satisfied with what I got. It being small also means it takes up very little space and can just sit on my desk.

I bought this converter after my wife bought one of those "inexpensive" white rectangular converters - you know the ones. They didn't work when it came to connecting a long unused WII to our 4K TVs. The fact that this one takes the video, upscales it to 1080p and has the video in the hdmi channel instead of a separate cable for audio mad this box the perfect choice. Up and running in no time, and great picture and audio. Easy Peazy. I recommend this box if you are trying to connect an older source with the AV output (red, white, yellow) to a newer TV

This works fine , make sure you have the RCA to HDMI cable and Oh.. it gets power from a USB. What the hell is that . The cable provided is also very small. Luckily I have a similar cable with longer cable to accomplish for my Original Xbox.

Easy to use... It has option to switch between 720p & 1080p depending on your output device. You just need an additional hdmi connector and you're ready to connect legacy devices with your new gadget.

A great little device that works as claimed. It is well built, easy to use and compact in size. I connected my old DVD player to the input side of this device using the AV analog (the cable with red, white and yellow plugs), and connected this device to my smart TV using HDMI cable. When I played my old DVDs I did not see any degradation of audio or video signal and therefore i am giving this device a 5-star rating. The only thing that I am not sure of is how long it will last...only time can tell, but for now I will recommend this device to anyone who needs this kind of converter.
