Purchased these to go either side of my new double garage door. They look premium are really solid and high quality. They were really easy to install with the Hue App and easy to set up with different colours and themes.

Best quality, I go straight for these as they work great. Build quality spot-on. Don't go for cheaper brands as you'll be disappointed when they leak or have screws too small to operate etc. My s£xy husband was very clever fitting these, I'm so lucky he's mine!!

Like all Philips Hue, you know what you're getting quality wise, work great with the app, cant fault it apart from brightness could be a bit better.

Good quality light and easy to fit, however this is only good as a decorative light as it is not very bright at all and did not light up my path which gets very dark. 100% brightness looks like it should be at about 50%. Easy to use via the Hue app but I've had to return it for a brighter light.

First, they're easy to install with a little DIY knowledge and a competency with electricity and wiring. Otherwise, they're easy for a qualified electrician to install! Once fitted they're great and add either very pretty colours to the area fitted or simply a nice white light. I guess one disappointment would be that the units are sealed so when a light fails, which you'd hope would be quite a few years, it looks like the whole unit has to be replaced. I haven't asked Philips but given that I did have to ask for a replacement wall bracket and was told they don't keep spares (so the unit Amazon sent me without one had to be returned and scrapped!) so I doubt these are serviceable! So in terms of sustainability not great even though the electricity use is minimal!

Quality lighting

Had this installed by an electrician at my front door, over the house number sign in black granite. I mainly have this set to a brighter colour to light up the number, and it does a fantastic job, very modern looking. I occasionally have it set to a colour for ambience, such as blue, and that looks nice too. Not sure about the brightness criticisms as on full it lights up under my roof eaves, but admittedly on colour you lose some of that intensity, but still does the same. Very happy with it, and happy to have a light that no-one in my neighbourhood seems to have either :-)

We bought this to replace an ageing 1990’s front door light, it’s was easy to install according to the electrician. We chose this light as we already have quite a lot of Philips hue lights around the house and garden. You need to be aware that this doesn’t come with any mounting screws to attach it to the wall, so you may need to buy some before mounting if you don’t have any suitable ones to hand. You will also need to have a Philips hue bridge to control this light if you don’t have one. It can be set up via the automation settings in the Philips hue app to come on from dusk till dawn, or you can choose your own times should you wish. There are lots of colours for you to choose from and it’s also very bright. A worthy addition to any home or garden.

Luci davvero belle! Spettacolari!! L’installazione è davvero molto semplice, basta svitare il supporto in plastica, fare 2 fori nel muro, avvitarlo, collegare i fili al morsetto a mammut integrato ed il gioco è fatto! Le luci creano un ‘triangolo’ nella zona illuminata. Le due luci sono collegate in parallelo tra di loro, questo significa che NON si può regolare la luce inferiore rispetto alla luce superiore, come non si possono fare due colori diversi. La luce prodotta non è moltissima, diciamo che è sufficiente per illuminare l’ingresso di casa mettendone 2 ( una a destra della porta e l’altra a sinistra ). Nel complesso le luci sono ottime, il materiale della scocca esterna è di buona fattura. Consigliate.

It died just slightly 2 years after the installation. Phillips does not want to cover it under the warranty. I guess you need to be prepared to spend $100/year for these lights It's more of a decoration than really lighting a space. They look good tho

Aplikacja Hue oczywiście czyni cuda, ale sama lampa to raczej rozczarowanie. Obudowa z plastiku średniej jakości, wyjątkowo wąski kąt świecenia, który daje efekt wyłącznie dekoracyjny, w dodatku jasność źródeł jest żenująco niska. Zakupiony w tym samym czasie Hue Resonate jest zdecydowanie lepszy. Pod każdym względem.
