I buy dozens a year
So far I have not had one die under the 3 year minimum life estimate. That is good enough for me. I'll update if I ever get a bad one.

Looks used
I received mine today. Shipping box was fine, box battery was in was open, had a very worn shipping label, looked ancient and was all beat up on the inside. The battery had a few scratches on it. The lugs looked new so I kept it.Another reviewer mentioned it’s a used battery. I’d be inclined to agree. Also noted was behind the American label was a different company's label. Same with mine.I’d recommend taking a pass on these. I live in a building with backup power generation. Most I’m out of power is maybe 5 minutes. While I probably should have returned it, it wasn’t worth the hassle.

This is NOT a new APC battery!!!
The accompanying graphic indicates that this is an APC battery, but this is not true. The text says that it is an American Battery Company batter and this is correct.This is a not a new battery but a refurnished one as indicated by the many, many scratches on the bottom of the case. There is no indication that you will be getting a refurbished battery so I feel that I've been cheated.If you want a refurbished battery, there are places on the net where you can get them for a lot less $$$.
