Thomas & Friends - The Royal Engine [DVD] [2020]

So pleased to have this in my collection and it didn’t disappoint. On This special anniversary dvd we have the full special episode and four more three for season 23 and One from season 24. First in Thomas and The Royal Engine: The Queen has invited The Fat Controller to London to receive a special award for his services to the railway and Thomas is to be the engine to bring him by request of The young Prince but Thomas has never been to London before and gets lost and but when he rescues a very important engine he is rewarded for helping a engine in need. Then in Heart of Gold: Toby is helping at Ulfstead Castle but the passengers make fun of him but when some thieves try to steal King Godreds Crown Toby proves how useful he is. Next in Crowning Around: When Rajiv looses his crown he feels useless without it can his friends show him he can be just as useful without it. Then in Diesel glows away: Diesel tries to make the other engines appreciate him more by hiding from them but his trick backfires. And finally in Emily to the rescue: When a routine safety drill turns into a emergency rescue Emily is the engine who saves the day and is rewarded with her very own number and named Sodor’s Safety Engine. Overall a great dvd and a must have for all Thomas fans both young and old Happy 75th Birthday Thomas.

A nice addition to any Thomas the Tank Engine collection.

The Main special was a joy to watch, with a few Easter Eggs and references i was able to pick up on from past adventures of Thomas. Seeing Emily in her story was interesting development for her. The rest of the stories were alright to watch inbetween.

Again for a Christmas present so ask me at a later review date but I went on the reviews and compared to others. A special 75th anniversary this year which is nice to keep

Bought this as a gift for my grandson and had it delivered straight to him. He was over the moon to receive this!It’s a lovely gift for anyone who loves Thomas. Arrived on time.
