Perfect for mouse control on Airstream!
Came quickly and was easy to cut a chunk to stuff into a gap. Course enough I don't think the mice will chew it.

Great cleaning glass
A winner , clean glass with out scratching it,or I put into a crucible with Alum. Oxide / Chromium Oxide 97/3 % with ten strands of the wool and microwave a couple mins and youve got reL rubys, not Grade A but its fun.use the old microwave in the corner of the garage not your good one.

Aluminum Wool
Never used aluminum wool before. Difficult to find. Using it on a model ship I am building. Very fine and gets into everything. Not sure it is worth the effort to find it…

Excellent!
Great product! Made removing rust very easy. Didn't scratch the other metal either. I also used it to make my own home made rubies as tiny is just aluminum oxide with a bit of chromium for the color. It worked like a charm! Attached is a picture of the rubies (under UV light to prove they are real rubies) made with this aluminum wool.

High price??--NO-RUST !! worth it. (not yet tried polishing Airstream's aluminum).
It's not a huge amount (a clump about 5 x 8 inches...but this is a clean, nice product to work with--cutting off wisps of needed-amounts with scissors is a pleasure. I'm trying to STOP MICE getting into a (vintage) Airstream....gunked this up with Locktite expanding dripping foam...and, tho' potentially messy to work with...seems to create a aluminum-wire wool-foundation - held together with fast drying, hard white nearly solid FOAM (but with some flex). ....I read that mice might eventually chew through FOAM but don't like to chew through wire wool ...ALUMINUM should not rust--along with remainder of the vintage Airstream--THAT makes PRICE worthwhile--the fine strands of (MUCH cheaper) regular wire wool would probably look awful and disintegrate very fast.
