Used it to read and clear messages. Went vehicle shopping and used it to see if anything wrong on my next vehicle.

Price is right but product wasn't for us.
Husband wanted one and I got this one. He commented that while the price was right he preferred one that was not as basic as this one. I would however recommend this product to anyone who just wants a simple code reader.

super easy to use
This code reader is very easy to use and codes are easy to read and find in the manual to pinpoint your problem codes. Definitely a neat little code reader for the price. Perfect to keep in your truck on the road or for amateur car guys, or mechanics on a budget.

clears pesky codes
Our car has been throwing an evap code which the dealership cannot fix without spending a lot of money. Technician recommended this device to clear the code. Easy and quick to plug in and clear them. Device comes with good instructions and is easy to use.

Didn't do what it was supposed to
This thing was supposed to take my truck out of limp mode but alas another false claim

Worked on my Ram
Used it to reset a DEF code on my 2018 Ram prior to replacing a few parts. Was able to get it out of limp mode for a while.
