This gear is way better than what I expected! I ordered a size small for my daughter, she loved it! She appreciates the gel knee pads. I do wish the helmet had a little room for adjustments but the elastic does have good stretch, hopefully within time it will loosen up a little so it’s easier for her to take off quickly when trying to catch a pop-up behind the plate. I would highly recommend this gear as well as the company selling it!

I wanted to leave this review to help other parents with catcher daughters! We read a lot of reviews and talked to a lot of people when trying to decide on a new set of catcher’s gear for our 10 year old. We weren’t sure whether to go with a youth size large or a small adult (for reference, our daughter is currently 4’11” and 100 lbs). We were looking for something that gave her more protection than her previous basic set, but also something that would grow with her for a few years. We ended up deciding on the adult small because we were afraid she’d grow out of the youth size too quickly. Not only does this gear fit securely with the buckles tightened, as well as providing plenty of padding to keep her safe, but it’s giving her a lot more coverage on her legs, and it’s pretty!☺️ We also love the gel pads on her knees especially! If you’re contemplating new catcher’s gear, I highly recommend this set!

This catchers gear was exactly as described. My daughter is a 13yo fast pitch catcher and I ordered this gear and size hoping it will last a few seasons. It fits great and for the price was super reasonable compared to other sites. The only con I have is it took a considerable amount of time to ship and I got nervous the order was going to be cancelled. The quality, safety and look is exactly what was described. I would highly recommend to other shoppers looking for a good set for a little cheaper than the high end brands.

My daughter loves this gear she doesn't like change so her trying this was questionable but after she got she loves the chest and knees the helmet is small so I did have to buy another that was a better fit but I hear that is a.common issue with the helmets but over all the rest is great

We bought our first set of this catching equipment for our son when he was 10. It lasted 2 years, 4 seasons, 5 different teams, and he caught almost every single game(roughly 20+ games per team). The only issue we had with the first set was that an elastic strap broke and he lost 2 screws in helmet, but all of it was still functional. My other son still uses the old equipment for practice! Definitely worth the investment.
