Exactly does what it says on the tin.

Compact power supply working well powering several CCTV cameras
The power supply is a palm sized unit and it is a lot smaller than the old 5A power supply it is replacing, a benefit of component miniaturisation etc. I guess. I like the fact the the output voltage can be adjusted easily to make sure the voltage is correct once the load is on. It is working a treat.

As Described I purchased it as a replacement for my under-cupboard lights.

Cloud of white smoke on first use...no load.
This item seems to have no safety approvals so should not be on sale in UK. On first use one of 12 bought emitted a cloud of white smoke and leaked some fluid from one of the electrolytic capacitors. On researching Amazon reviews on this and similar PSUs it is not a unique experience. This item has a very small size for it's rated output shared by no alternatives I could find, needing some redesign of the unit it is used in. Not safe, not approved, shouldn't be on sale.
