Saved $100
After contacting the manufacturer of my chicken egg incubator wanting a replacement fan, I thought I'd have to fork out $160 for a whole new set up. Decided to look for a fan with similar stats. Figured it was worth the risk. This fan is awesome. I know it's for a computer, but, my Harris Farms Nutureright 360 is good as new and quieter than when it was new. Will be ordering again if I need another replacement.

Perfect replacement for my RV power suppy fan
GDSTIME 80mm x 80mm x 25mm 12V Brushless DC Cooling Fan. I replaced the cooing fan in an old Magnatek RV 12 volt power supply. Works great! Had to change the connector for my particular application but that was expected. Too many connector types out there.

Works great...so far
I'm trying an experiment with this 80mm fan that fits perfectly into my 3" radon vent pipe.I have a passive radon mitigation pipe installed on my house, but the venting is done passively on its own and does not vent well. I could spend several hundred dollars to add a heavy duty vent fan but it is noisy and wanted to try a simpler approach.First I bought a vent cap that is suppose to use the wind to reduce the pressure at the outlet and help with the venting. Well measuring radon levels in my house the vent cap actually made things worse and is restrictive than increasing the venting. With this fan and a solar panel I retrofitted the vent cap by putting this fan into the tube and attaching a solar panel on top. See pictures. The solar panel generates up to 17V in bright sun. This fan comes on at about 15 V at half speed and is full speed at 17V. I'll see how it does but at this rate for about $25 cost for the entire retrofit , it should have some venting.
