We had a crack in original hot water heater in our 2004 trailer. Ordered the new one. Swapped it out in an hour. Installed exactly the same as original. Filled it, fired it up. No purging of lines or anything required. Started working immediately. Working perfectly so far. Hot water again!!

Had a leaky Suburban water heater, replaced with this one. All the hoses and wires were identical, worked great once installed. Note: these don't come with the 1/2" x 1/2" pipe nipple so you can screw the water hose to the tank. Don't do what I did and buy a nipple with not enough thread depth. I tightened the fitting all the way but it dripped water. required removing tank a couple times before I figured out the issue. get a "tube" style double 1/2" so you can tighten as much as needed.

Worked perfect great value for price

I spoke with the manufacturer. This is not a Chevrolet product. It is a exact suburban Product perfect fit for this model. Easy installation however, the water is not quite as hot as the previous model. And there are no adjustments for the hot water.
