Mrs. Anderson’s Baking Canning Tool Set, for Home Canning and Dehydrating to Preserve Foods, 5-Piece Set

Ordered these utensils for my 2nd year of canning. So far I haven't used them but the utensils are good shape, all work properly.

Inexpensive & sturdy, this set helped me put together the necessities for small batch canning (the magnetic lifter is my favorite as it means fewer burned fingers) It is not "ergonomic" and the rubberized grips aren't very cushion-y, but this set did its job, I have cans of spiced pear preserves and peach lavender jam to prove it :)

...everything you ever needed to do some home canning.....I made pepper jelly......I'd recommend this set to anyone interested in doing their own canning or jarring ...think fresh !!!

I never knew opening a jar or bottle could be so easy - have used the jar opener more than any of the other items so far. Never thought I would use that, but glad it was in the set. Awesome.

It was a gift for my sister, and she LOVED it. Said that it was going to make canning much easier.

These tools are a bit goofy and cheap. Only the funnel was useful so far. I think you can do better by buying tools separately for better quality with no extra junk that will never get used.

I have been a disorganized canner up until now... juggling hot jars with tea towels, while trying to fill them without spilling too much on the rims and outsides of the jars, all the while trying not to burn myself with everything I touch. My grandmother canned like that and so do I. I saw this set, and thought I would try it... it looked like a good idea at the time, and very reasonably priced.It is excellent!... wow... the difference when you can safely take your jars out of the boiling water, and then fill them with the funnel with little to no mess... the funnel is an excellent shape and size... it fits in the little 125ml Bernardin jars, as well as the larger jars. The various tongs are all excellent for their own little tasks, and the magnetic lid lifter is awesome... I can keep the lids in the simmering water until seconds before I need them... all logical in hindsight... I should have ordered this ages ago.Five stars

My wife and I made pickled beets, carrots and eggs in a frenzied day of pickling. We used every item in this set multiple times over the day, and I was very happy with the performance of each one. Especially the strength of the jar pliers. I thought for sure they'd slip and drop my big Quart sized jars considering how heavy they were, but these things held tight!

Product came as advertised, all pieces were in the package, and all are sturdy / good quality for the price you pay. There seem to be some scratches on the funnel and I'm not 100% sure if this was used before because the box was not sealed at all BUT at the end of the day, it is what I ordered, there's no significant damage to the products, and for $18 you can't really be mad about it! I'm happy.

Just took up canning and this gave me everything I needed. Worked great for 2 days of canning. Will use again next time. Ran through dishwasher and everything help up well.

I consider these tools non-optional for the home canner!!! The rubberized jar tongs and the magnetic lid wand are my favourite. I wish that the funnel was made of metal (like my old one), but it is very functional has held up well these past few years, even with using boiling syrups. The funnel is wide enough to put a good amount of larger fruit or veggie pieces into the jars.
