Disney Star Wars The Force Awakens BB-8 Talking Figure, 9.5 Inch

From the moment i opened the box, the detail was awesome. When i turned it on for movement, it was great to see it move around and hear it. When i went to mode 2 for the voice activation, its response is quick with voice making it a really cool setting for this toy. Expected delivery is 1 week but i got it in 3 days which is awesome. The size was a lot larger than i anticipated but it made it even better. The quality is sturdy and cool.

This toy is nice but does not move around like sphero's or hasbro's. The body is a bit heavy which keeps it upright while it moves around. The body does not roll but instead it has a wheel that moves it around while its head rotates. I love the details on this toy as it is very movie accurate, the markings, its off-white color and its antenas. Overall, the toy is excellent but don't purchase this if you want a BB-8 that can roll its body. My kids and I love it. :)

When we got the item, we were a little concerned because the box had some damage and the BB-8 had some scuffs on it . Instructions were included in ours, but they were extremely limited, and mostly in another language. As far as functionality, the unit will barely respond when in the voice mode, and usually will just run into stuff and then shut off after awhile. You need to keep pressing the button on the head to keep it awake. My son seems interested in it for now, but we were pretty disappointed in terms of what we were expecting vs. what we got. Additionally, as can be seen in the video, I would not describe the majority of the sounds it makes as sounding like BB-8. Most of the time it sounds like low fart and growl noises...

This toy is good for small children, you push a button on its head and it will make noises and move around. $ adults could not figure out the voice commands though so it is not 5 star. In the end we had to return because a grown man asked for this and then did not want it.

Got this as a gift for my wife. It's much larger than I anticipated -- which was a happy surprise. It has a sound activated mode, although it sometimes feels a bit random as to which sound will trigger it. On the other hand, that's just another reason to yell "BB-8!" If it doesn't receive any activation commands within 3 or 4 minutes, it automatically shuts down. The bottom sphere is stationary but has a single wheel embedded in it to make it move around the place. It does passably on regular carpet, but best on plain hardwood floors. I don't think it would work on very thick/shag carpeting. It has a variety of cute head motions and beeps and whistles. Definitely a fun little gizmo to turn on and let loose around the house.

I must admit that I was expecting more from this product. It is visually appealing, but it is very heavy and it really doesn't do much of anything. There are no directions that come with the product, and what it does do seems to be erratic and not very entertaining. In hindsight I should have ordered the smaller unit that actually runs via gyroscopic drive (this one has a wheel underneath the body), and the smaller one can actually be remotely controlled via cellphone and remote control. I am happy to have the BB-8 on a shelf under my television as a reminder that the Star Wars movies will continue, but I am sad for the lack of actual play/entertainment value presented by the toy. I wouldn't recommend this toy to anyone aside for its aesthetic value, as I find no intrinsic or play/entertainment value at all.

Bought this as a surprise for my girlfriend as she liked BB-8 after seeing SW:TFA. Needless to say, she was having fun playing with BB-8!! Great product, Great size and weight! It would have been nice if this moved like the Sphero but what you get is a solid toy with Interactivity and Talking Lights and motion! Amazon, as always, has the best shipping for Prime members. regalo di natale per il mio piccolo ometto . Sono sempre un pò preoccupata quando compro cose elettroniche senza poterle vedere prima dal vivo , ma il prezzo era buono e ho rischiato. Il pacco conteneva questo bellissimo robot di 30 cm , subito funzionante, ha un sensore che riconosce la tua posizione quando fai rumore e ti viene incontro, riproduce i suoni del robot del film. ruota la testa . e la parte inferiore si muove grazie ad una monoruota. il giocattolo si presenta molto robusto e ben fatto nei minimi dettagli . è il robot base senza telecomando ma comunque molto bello lo consiglio mio figlio ne è felicissimo .

Brilliant toy! Bought this for my 5 year old son’s birthday as he loves Star Wars and had asked for a robot. Really good size and quality. Such brilliant sound effects and I love the way the head spins round. I loved R2D2 back in the day, but this robot does not fail to entertain. I couldn’t stop playing with it myself! Wonderful toy - so much better than seeing my son on the iPad. Love it. Great delivery - came super fast. Just buy it if you’re in doubt - well worth the money to see the joy on your child’s face. It will bring hours of pleasure and I’ll enjoy having a go too!

Ce jouet est excellent. Les bruitages sont drôles et ressemblants. Les déplacements sont aussi drôles. Il semble résistant. Je suis content de cet achat.

Súper chulo, mis niños están comon locos con el, tiene tres funciones,en una solo mueve la cabeza y hace ruido. En otra se mueve hacia adelante y atrás.En la tercera se mueve segun lo hablas, con los ruido. Es muy chulo..
