It’s made of aluminium
Arrived in immaculate condition. Well made and lightweight. The plastic inside is dishwasher proof. I bought it as a birthday gift for my partner to go with a nice new thermos flask.

Bomb proof lunch box
Nothing to dislike so far.It’s stronger than I thought it would be, I was expecting maybe thinner metal that bend more easily, but this is made of strong stuff.The easily removable insert is brilliant, and even has a plastic lid to go with it (although it would have been nice if it sealed so the insert could be used on its own - I guess you still could with an elastic band or something to keep it in place.The main idea I guess though is that it’s removable and washable, so it does the job. There is also a removable divider inside that makes it that bit more versatile too.The fastenings are good and work well, and made of a plastic. Time will tell how these wear, I would have like some sort of flip lever closure maybe (like a Kilner jar) - but, they seem solid and could last years, who knows.In all a brilliant box that seals well, feels like it will last a long time and take a bashing. It’s reassuringly heavy, so not one for lightweight enthusiasts, but I’d rather have kit I can be clumsy with any day.Chuffed to bits with it!

Solid bit of kit.
Great quality as expected from SIGG. The internal container with divider is perfect for keeping your food secure and easy to clean. Good secure fasteners that don’t scratch the lid.

Superb quality item, that is made to last many many years. Stop buying cheap plastic rubbish that will end up in a landfill and grab a SIGG lunch box. You wont regret it!

Aesthetic but not ideal
This lunch box looks very nice and has a handy microwaveable insert. But it made me realise I don’t actually need a metal lunch box and the stainless steel seems easy to dent and scuff. My item had a slight dent on one of the ribs and it is very obvious
