Received item, right away noticed quality which was awesome. Switch was pre-wired making installation easy. Saving a lot of setup time! Simple: find mounting location run wire (red) positive to + auxiliary of vehicle or positive off battery. Look in fuse box for auxiliary. Run wire (black) negative to - auxiliary or battery. On switch you will find an open pin, run positive wire (red) of device (light, fog, fan, ect) to open pin. Run black wire of device to same as negative on auxiliary or battery. Done, easy set up. I advise to put an inline fuse on + (red) positive side from power source whether auxiliary or battery. Not included but available in most auto part shops. Illumination is another get aspect. Highly recommended item.

I really wanted to like this but I have found two major errors with this product. First, it came wired incorrectly. The way it came, the switch doesn't do anything. There is power at the usb whether the switch is in the on or off position.Second, the voltage meter displays an incorrect voltage reading. This switch was reading 12.8 volts and my multimeter was reading 12.55 volts. More cheap junk from China.
