Good solid magazine for serious hunters.
Bought this as a gift subscription. Reader has subscribed to this magazine on and off and finds for the most part the information provided is practical. Well written articles but some of the articles are just 'infomercials' to sell a product or service. Less than in other magazines but still there.

Trying e zine subscription 1st time
I was having a hard time finding this magazine at the store. It was either sold out, late being displayed or was never there period. Now it shows up when published and so far I am very happy with this e zine subscription service.

Great Magazine
It was nice being able to get a deer hunting magazine on my kindle fire. I cant say it was much cheaper but I did not have to lag around a magazine in my computer bag through airports or forget it when changing planes.

Best deer magazine in IMO
One of the best magazines about deer hunting there is. I've had this subscription for over six years, and I plan on having it the next six years.

Some good, some bad
I really liked the deer behavior articles and updates on current deer research. I didn't like the articles trying to tell me why ARs are going to become the new "deer camp rifle". Low and behold, these articles usually were followed in a couple pages by an advertisement for an AR as a hunting rifle.... weird. Im sorry, but anyone showing up with an AR to hunt deer would be laughed out of any hunting camp I have ever been to. Great for targets, plinking, or killing terrorists, but the corporate influence over quality articles led me to cancel my subscription.

Fast Service
I placed my order and within three weeks I had received my first copy in the mail.Now that's fast service for a magazine subscription. Great articles for the deer hunter. I am starting my third year reading this magazine - it has great articles and illustrations and it is solely on deer hunting. A Good buy for the money. A++

Excellent Periodical
I started deer hunting in 2011; I've gained a lot of field experience since then; however hunting whitetail deer is a challenge that requires continual learning. Deer & Deer Hunting is an excellent source for the latest whitetail studies, new discoveries, wildlife management, new equipment and it offers great insight from experienced hunters and outdoorsmen. I highly recommend it for both the novice and experienced hunter and everyone in between.
