Every once in awhile I need to grip a bolt or fastener at an odd angle or area. These fit the bill. They have limited performance, but as long as mega torque is involved, you should be good to go!

Used these for hands free holding the nut on the bottom of a toilet tank. Removing a tank to fix the flusher valve is a pain because the screw is in the tank and the nut is under. You have to hold one to remove the other. I like vice grips for this because you don't have to use both hands in an awkward stance.The shape of these made it much easier to reach the nuts in the crevice. The length however meant they had to be super tight so they wouldn't fall off.The construction is ok but the metal seems a little cheap and flimsy. They are good for small jobs but I wouldn't use them for anything heavy duty as I think they would break pretty easy.

I bought these, just thinking they'd be "good enough". I am incredibly surprised by the quality, though. The tools are very well built and feel nice and sturdy in the hand. Great gripping and locking mechanism as well. Will definitely buy from this company again.

Need something to use for a hard to reach area and these are the perfect tools to use. Good holding grip used then for a medium weight spring worked really well

I work in heavy construction. I purchased these straight locking pliers (vice-grips) and used them for pulling cones off PT Cable heads for building large concrete structures. (if you know, you know). and while this is a harder use scenario than normal, I didn't expect that the metal would literally deform, and snap after about a month of use.keep in mind that month of use is literally like 1 day of use every week or so. so maybe 4-6 full days of actual use before the metal/welds gave up.I bought these because I needed something long that I could lock onto the cones, and gently tap them out. it worked wonders, until it didn't.if I knew the metal/welds were of better quality, I would definitely buy them again for this purpose. But unfortunately it seems this vendor is just a waste of money. I can't recommend them at this time.

These will work nicely on automotive headaches. Example holding tie rod ends tightening loc-nut. Not super-duty but well made and finish is equal to most quality tools. Jaws fit 1 1/4” dia. Now if the item is frozen a good old pipe wrench will do the job. I have seen bent grip in reviews and I would say they must have been abused where this was not the tool to use. Jaws line up fine and these will be a great addition to my arsenal of problem solvers.
