Awesome jacket!
Excellent quality materials, workmanship, and design. I'd expect to pay three times as much for this. Unfortunately I paid attention to other reviews and ordered a XL when I should have a Large. Debating on whether to return / swap or just live with it. The pads all seem to fall where they should, the pockets are numerous and usefull, the zippered vents in the arms and shoulders were a nice surprise. The liner sleeves even have keeper buttons and velcro tabs at the bottom of the body (could maybe use one more in the back). The "10" tablet pocket" might hold some but not the one I have, even without the case it's about a half inch short in any direction. There is plenty of room for my 7" with case and I'm more likely to have that one anyway. Likewise the phone pockets must have been designed with some previous generation of phones as my MotoE2 will barely squeeze in and is fairly small by current standards. But again, I'm not likely to use that pocket for that purpose. The design is eye-catching without being gaudy and the retro-reflective piping is a definite plus.I can easily see this being a 3 season jacket. Maybe 4 season depending on how extreme your seasons are. We'll have to see as I've only had it on for about 15 minutes. Still debating on whether to trade down a size. If it weren't for the ape arms, I'd definitely keep it as I like a bit of room in the body to layer up.A tip for designers of clothing and accessories. Real people put cases on their phones! Modern smartphones often represent a significant investment by the consumer. We commonly invest a couple bucks more to protect and personalize them. So when you say this or that will fit an iPhone6S or whatever, it needs to have a bit of extra room for a case or specify that it will only fit when naked. [rant:off] There's plenty of pockets to keep my phones and whatever else in. It just won't be the ones designated.

Great jacket
So I had bought the jacket in March when I began scooter lessons for my motorcycle license. My road test was supposed to be that month but got pushed down to a week ago in June. I had not planned on wearing the jacket because of how heavy I thought it was and figured I would buy an armor vest or an armored mesh jacket for the summer. I live in NY and it has been getting to 75-80 degrees so I didn't want to worry about sweating on the scooter but wanted to be protected since I still would be going 50-60 mph. The best thing about this jacket is that there is a layer that can be removed to make it thinner. I rode to and from work today as well as on a joy ride in 75 degree weather and did not overheat or feel uncomfortable and felt fully protected. It makes me feel great knowing when fall comes I can add the extra layer on for warmth. For this price you get exceptional quality. Most motorcycle jackets go for $150+ so this price is great. There's a number of pockets which is great for me because I hate leaving my phone in the scooter holder just because I get paranoid and you get a zipper in the front as well as strong Velcro which isn't that cheap Velcro some sneakers for little kids come with that fall apart easily and the Velcro strips start to come off after a week

Ok quality, probably not the best value
This jacket is fine quality, but I believe you can get better value for the price elsewhere. Look at name-brand items that are on sale on major motorcycle parts retailers online. After doing a little more research, I wish I had gone with a better brand. I will most likely wear this jacket for a few years now that I have bought it.

Does what it needs to do
4/5 for warmth. Tested at 30 mph in 14° F with liner and a long-sleeved shirt underneath, wind chill was eating me alive; I had to turn around and put on a puffy jacket underneath, then it was fine. I think it would be sufficient to wear alone at 35° F, but that's just a guess.4/5 for protectiveness. I feel like it would protect me pretty well at moderate-speed crashes. Without hard plastic armor, I don't think it would do enough going higher than 40 mph.5/5 for build quality. It feels very sturdy and solid.5/5 for looks. It's not leather, I still think it looks pretty badass.Main reason I got it was because it was the cheapest one ($80 at time of this review) I could find with a reflective strip and cold features/windproofing. Unfortunately, riding in 20° F weather means I still have to wear layers underneath this, but I do feel safer than with any other non-motorcycle jacket.

Dope.
Fits amazing! Be sure to measure yourself for this one people. Only thing i didn't like is the Velcro neck strap that kept scratching me but I just fixed it with some scissors. I love how many pockets I have for everything now

great bang for your buck
The jacket was great I read some of the reviews that said they run a little small so I got 2 sizes bigger and let me tell you it still is pretty tight I was surprised. I do like how it gives me the fitted feel though. The liner is great nice an warm I had to take it off because it got hot. I did not like how the cell phone pocket was attached to the liner and not the jacket so when you take off the liner you lose that pocket although under it is a nicr long deep pocket in the jacket ... I wish it had an external pocket for quick access to keys or something but overall I'm pleased with the jacket

5 stars
fits great, plenty of adjustable straps wrist, waist, ect cant beat it for the price. I've only got tons of complements. this jacket also has very well padded back, arms just in case u fall- not just a small patch on elbow i mean large patches almost full length of arms and including middle of the back of jacket. hope this helps i was rather impressed when i received it. I've actually had friends try buy jacket off me and in process of ordering another for a buddy. btw i have no interested to advertise for VikingCycle this was not a paid review, and i paid full price so no worries about a bias review

Good jacket for riding
This thing has more pockets than a pool hall. Lots of vents and a removable liner makes it a good option for warmer months as well. The padding is pretty hefty and the materials are a great quality for the price. I would recommend for sure.
