Eikoh Puzzle & Dragons: Thorned Guardian, Graceful Valkyrie Figure Collection Vol.7

The media could not be loaded.  Thorned Guardian is one version of what appear to be many different types of Valkyries in the game Puzzle and Dragons. Eikoh has reproduced a few of these versions into figure form. I picked this one because I like her color scheme even more so than Phoenix Blossom which I also have and the price was once again just too good to pass up. These figures are game prize figures so be aware that their quality are not going to be perfect. The paint may have issues here and there as well as the molding being a little less than stellar and these issues may vary for each figure. Mine wasn't too bad at all and taking the oh so cheap price of under 16 dollars with free shipping into account I have no complaints. She is small and I would guess that the scale is around 1/10th. My favorite thing about this figure is the shield she holds. Both the details in the straps that hold it to her arm and the phoenix / eagle that has been sculpted on its outside. All in all an impressive prize figure that I can recommend.

Valkyrie Elize is cute as a button and quite well detailed and sturdy as a figure. My only complaint is that her right thumb was actually off the figure and was floating around inside the box when I opened it and could have been lost forever if I didn't see it. It slid onto her thumb 'nub' just fine with some careful placement, and now you couldn't tell it was loose originally. The thumb detail is not listed on her instructions, so it must have come off during shipping and fell through the baggie the main model was in (her skirt ripped the baggie at some point). Other than that she was in perfect condition.

I bought this figure for about $18 or so. It's a lovely character - detailed, well-painted, and it looks great. Figures of this quality generally go for many times this price, so it was an easy choice to buy. I'm glad I did!

Great detail in this anime derived statute, understandably no articulation. Not for children zone ;-) !
