Best slip ons - Plantar Plate Strain (toes)
Oofos never disappoint! I've owned Oofos flip flops for 5+ years and they are my go-to footwear! They certainly feel like you're walking on supported clouds!I was recently diagnosed with plantar plate strain in my middle toe area and need metatarsal pads to take pressure off off my toe region. I also have early arthritis in my feet (toe region). These recovery slip ons help with that without needing the pads and help with my arthritis pain! These do not rub my feet/toes anywhere and I can comfortably wear them with moisture-wicking socks. They do get warm, but so do other slip ons. They are now my go-to slip ons unless I have to walk in snow. They are broad in the toe region, but so are Crocs (my other go-to footwear), and I like that. They definitely don't make your feet look like clown feet! 😂I also own Oofos slides, but those rub my little toe when I walk. Although super supportive, I still don't wear those as often. Oofos flip flops in the warm months and these slip ons in the cold months is all I need! I just ordered another pair in case these wear out from use soon! But I would highly recommend as these definitely give your feet that 'recovery' pain relief you're looking for!

Make walking easier
Best shoes for knee pain. I have all kinds of feet, knee, hip pain issues. With a hug instep. I would only be able to stand for 15 minutes in other shoes before my knee pain just be burning and hurting so bad I’d have to sit down. I even had a Dr. note for my MCL injury to not stand for more than 30 minutes. But yesterday I stood for over an hour before I realized my knee was starting to hurt. It’s been almost life changing. I was at work and got a snow storm and when I was walking to car was surprised that I didn’t feel like my shoes were slipping off. Without socks my feet do get very sweaty but I have hot feet always. I usually wear sandals year round for that reason so that might just be me. I also feel like walking is easier. I can’t really describe how but like each step is less difficult maybe because my knee is not hurting as much but it’s just incredible how much more mobility I feel like I have now. I did have to send back my size 8 in women and get a 9 just because I have fat feet that the 9 are more comfortable in. Maybe the flip flops I could wear a 8 in.

Love OOfos! Women's runs small. Oofos/Croc comparison included
OOfos = comfort! I wear them all of the time, not just for recovery.I own women’s OOcoozie low shoe size 7.5 and love them. I love my new OOclogs just as much! Following advice of other reviewers I ordered up to size 8 and glad I did. These run smaller than the shoes. The 8 fits perfectly without socks. Anything other than a thin sock would be too snug/short. I have average width feet and they stay on quite securely with no sliding. My son has the crocs version of recovery clog and loves them. I thought I’d compare in case you are on the fence like I was. In the images his are bigger because they are men’s size 8 while mine are the equivalent of a men’s size 6. Both have that squishy feel but the OOfos have just a bit more squish.Top view shows how crocs run “wider” both in toe box and at arch/midfoot. There is arch support in the crocs, but not as much as OOfos. I love that extra arch support.Bottom view shows the different treads. The crocs tread feels more “significant” than the OOfos like it might last longer. Time will tell.Lateral or outside view shows OOfos don’t have a hole on that side. I prefer this. They look more like "regular" shoes.Medial or inside view shows the breathing/drain holes. It also shows that bit of a rocker curve on the OOfos that seems to help propel me forward when walking.Note that both squeak like crazy when walking with wet bare feet (pool/beach)! And, yes, both make your feet sweat. That’s just the nature of the material.Verdict: I am glad I chose the OOfos for myself. I didn’t want my shoes to be too wide. I think I could have ordered a 9 and it still would have fit well but given me some room for thicker socks. My son with wider feet is very happy with his choice.
