This product make great tasting shrimp scampi right in your own kitchen and requires very little effort! Makes for a great lunch or evening dinner fare!

Made this with butter and lemon juice and a little wine, some shrimp and was terrific! Everyone I had for company loved it and for some reason is difficult to find in most grocery stores now.

My favorite shrimp scampi recipe was delicious, but required making a marinade and marinating the shrimp for several hours. While visiting my sister, she made shrimp scampi one evening, using a packaged seasoning like this, but a different brand, and the end result was just as delicious as my recipe. When I came home I couldn’t find any in the stores, so I had to order it. If you love shrimp scampi, but would like an easier, quicker way to make it, I highly recommend one of these seasonings.

Easy to use and yummy

It has a lot of seafood spices but I think too much salt. But I have found other uses for it aside from just making shrimp scampi. As it is garlicky as well, I've mixed into cream sauces that I've used for chicken casserole recipes. Used sparingly (I just shake some in) it gives a garlicky herb flavor and perks up bland sauces. The spices in it are not just for shrimp, to me it's versatile and can be incorporated in rice dishes, pasta dishes, etc. But just don't dump the entire package into whatever you are making, do it little by little tasting as you go along. I have it 4 stars because of the salt issue.
