compatible with Roomba 690
These sensors work flawlessly, preventing my robot vacuum from tumbling down stairs and helping it navigate around furniture with ease.Installation was straightforward, and I noticed an immediate improvement in my Roomba’s performance. It now moves more confidently around my home, and I no longer have to worry about it getting stuck or damaged.

Challenging installation
Works like a dream now. Definitely a challenging installation procedure, but fixed the problem very inexpensively.

Cheap fix, but not an “easy” fix.
If your roomba is already broken what’s the harm in trying to fix it right? This was a direct replacement for my 890. Be aware you will be taking your roomba almost entirely apart to do this so if you aren’t much of a tinkerer this might not be a job for you.

Worked with one modification
The bumper switch on the left in the picture is the old bumper switch casing. The new bumper switch casing is on the right. I had to use the old bumper switch casing because the new one is not oriented correctly and would not install correctly…problem solved

Vacuums carpet again
The cliff sensor came quickly and they work in my roomba 690. I kept getting “error 6 move roomba to a new location and press clean to restart” whenever the roomba would touch a darker carpet. I replaced the cliff sensors with this new one and haven’t gotten the error since. Quality seemed to match OEM IRobot quality. Very happy with this purchase and now my roomba can vacuum carpet again. Lots of screws to get to it and pretty much have to tear roomba down to the core, it’s time consuming but not very difficult.

Fixed my 985 that was going nowhere
Item worked just as expected. Installation requires the removal of quite a few screws(30+) and prying of some plastics but just take some photos as needed. Be gentle working around the control boards and plastic items. Many models will have detailed YouTube disassembly, mine did not. Took about an hour to take apart and reassemble. $30 fix versus a full replacement is a great value.

Direct fit
This was a direct fit for my 671 roomba. It is a tasking remove and replacement process that takes time and patience. I watched a video on it and recommended that you do as well. It did solve my non stop error problem (move to another location).

The sensors work but the connector clip is no compatible, misleading description
This didnt work with Roomba 980. I ordered this to replace my 980 sensors, (one of my sensors was damaged due to water) and it doesn't work with Roomba 980. See the images, this item has only one connector while 980 has many. But I took a chance and cut out one of the new sensors to replace my broken sensor to see if it work, and it worked. So at least the part will work if it fits.
