Just what I was looking for! It sits on the side of the pool. The base must be filled with water or sand to weight it down. It is similar to the little kid plastic outdoor toys - Playskool maybe? Brilliant color - I got the bright blue. The shipping was Amazon fast. Arrived with no damage. Care was taken in packaging so everything was well protected. Easy to put together. Takes less than 5 minutes. Came with two basketballs of quality similar to full size basketballs (not plastic). Came with a hand pump that easily pumped up the balls. Fun for all ages!

Our boys love this addition to our pool this summer and it has held up to multiple kids shooting at it. It’s so durable and when filled with water it’s hard to budge. It was very easy to put together. Its color blue is vibrant and rust resistant. The cost of other basketball goals like this one was very high in price as this one is affordable. We’ve had it for about a month and a half and it hasn’t aged in color at all. The age of kids that have used this are age range 5-15 years old. Ages 5 and up.

This is a very well designed toy. But it is a toy, and if you want to play "real basketball" in a pool, then buy a real basketball goal and mount it yourself. The balls for this set are just a little smaller than volleyballs (as I said, it is a toy), and the rim is roughly twice the diameter of one of the balls (so, not as large as a real basketball goal). The unit is very easy to put together and take apart, very sturdy (for a toy) and a lot of fun to play with. I've had mine outside for one full summer season and it has held up very well. (I'm not sure what I'll do when the net eventually wears out, since I'm pretty sure it is not regulation size). When filled with water, the base is stable, though I suspect that a teenager hanging on the rim might either break the heavy plastic rim or pull the whole thing into the pool. But routine shots and dunks don't move the base at all. At the end of the season you can tip the whole thing on its side and drain it, pull the base and backboard apart, and store it in a garage. This is by far the best pool basketball toy I have seen and I would not hesitate to buy it again, should this one ever need replacing.

Awesome Pool Game – Easy Setup & Tons of Fun This GoSports Splash Hoop PRO has been a hit in our pool! It gets used all the time — seriously, every time the kids are swimming, this thing is in play. Setup was super easy — my 12-year-old actually assembled it on their own without any help (which was impressive and a big win for me 😄). It’s sturdy, stays in place, and the two balls it comes with are perfect for back-to-back games. Great quality, fun for all ages, and it definitely makes pool time even better. Highly recommend!

This is a Great Little hoop for small children. Can be fun for adults too, but can’t take any hard wear and tear. It’s lightweight but the base can be filled with water to keep it in place. We have high winds at our house because we live on a canyon and it hasn’t moved yet, we’ve only had it for about a week. My husband and I enjoy casually shooting around but I’m sure it would not stand up to the way I know big kids like to use the basketball hoop. The little ones that have visited have enjoyed shooting the basketballs, the balls are small, not regulation-size basketballs, as well as the hoop. Overall, this is a great little hoop for people who will use it lightly and aren’t looking for real game size hoop to play on. I would liken it to the little hoop that you hang over the door in your bedroom; fun to play with, but not probably going to help you improve your skills. I gave it a level five durability rating because if you use it lightly, it should hold up. It’s made out of hollow plastic, same as backyard playground toys for toddlers. If you treat it kindly, it should hold up.

I live in the United States Virgin Islands and it’s warm here year round so this is good exercise for me in the pool. It was quick and easy to set up and if I need to move it that’s easy too. It comes with everything you need to play basketball in the pool.

Hard to find this quality anywhere in Aus…. Was very happy that we didn’t pay s And h but still cost us a lot. Can’t fault it though as is very sturdy and well made and arrived very quickly😊
