I read off the first question in the book to test it on my husband and we both enjoyed it. The first question (paraphrased by me) was ... you're going on a long trip. What are the three things that you would take along? ... it was amazing what we though of. I tried the question out on my kids and one grandchild. Their answers where different from ours. Everyone loved the questions. The uncommunicative child who answers everything as yes or no will find the conversations require more than a yes-no answer and are fun to answer.

This book is great! My grandchildren live in Europe and the book gives me a great way for them to “ put on their thinking caps” and communicate with me. Perfect for 7-12 year olds.

My grandkids loved it. I read the questions. The 11 year old was into it and the 8 year old decided to answer with funny answers. We did nothing but laugh. I have funny grandkids. We spend 1 hour laughing at their antics. Great way to spend a few hours.

This book is so fun! I use the questions during morning meeting time with my third grade class. The questions cause students to think deeply about different fun topics.

I bought this book to provide alternative dinner time conversation topics for our 7 year old, as an alternative to endless talk about video games. It has been a real hit, and he gets it out unprompted at family meal times to read various questions out to us. This is a book that could be enjoyed up to and throughout teenage years also, and is very thought provoking. The grown ups at the table have enjoyed debating different topics brought up by the questions in the book too!

I use this book with my year 9 reluctant form students. They love it!

I read it with my daughter (13 yo), and we had a lot of fun, and we spent hours doing something different. It is also a good way to know better someone.
