We used these on an older model built in to the counter stove top. They worked really well and they were easy to install. They were also very cheap and we received extras from Amazon.

I had a burner that was working intermittently, which is not a good thing for an electric device. I tried replacing the burner element - less than half price online compared to home improvement stores - but that did not solve the problem. I looked closer at the connection under the stove top and discovered a broken and burnt connector. Ouch. Searching online, I found this kit and ordered it immediately. It arrived less than 48 hours after I ordered it. There are parts to replace connections for all four burners, but there are no instructions. The lack of instructions is the only drawback to this purchase. It wasn't tough to figure out, though, since I have a general understanding of basic repairs. Within minutes, I had a perfectly working burner. I used the new burner that I had ordered online and still spent less than the total of a replacement element alone at the local store. You will need a wire stripper and both a flat and Phillips screwdriver. That's it. You can also use a heat gun if you want to use the heat shrink in the kit. I didn't and have no issues.

We switched to Amazon to purchase this items since last year. We have purchased 8 sets for our rental houses. These items from Amazon have high quality, low price and delivery fast compared with other on-line vendors.

I have a 40 year old GE stove. 2 of the 4 cooktop elements quit working some time ago. After shopping for a new replacement, decided to give this a try. Now my very old stove works great !!! Down side is, once taken apart, 40 years of crud, solidified grease & even a mouse skeleton to deal with. Took hours, over 2 days to get it cleaned up. Well worth it. I also purchased replacement heating elements & drip pans along with the receptacle kit. Totaled about $75.00 to make this stove look & work like new !!! The kit was not supplied with any instructions, so, if you are not well versed in this kind of repair, do not attempt. William Josephs

Repair man charged my father in law $100 to change one of these. Told him to get these and I’d do it for free.

The quality is ok BUT after installing the first three sets. I opened the 4th and I found out that the black rectangular element is missing. So now I have one eye that doesn't work.
