This product is amazing and easy to use. Beware of the smell though.For pretreatment, I’ve washed the affected area with dish washing detergent to strip off as much tar as I can. Applied Vaseline infused with cocoa butter (saw on YouTube) on plastic rocker panels and on body panels (only on heavily soiled areas), let it sit over night. Next day I wipeD off all Vaseline with paper towels, this took off ~80% of tars. Then I use a terry cloth and wipe down all affected areas with this product. It’s amazing how smooth the body panel feels when I’m done, like I just clay bar the car but much easier! Immediately after this I wash and ceramic coated the car. If I had to do it again, I could have skipped the Vaseline step and just use this tar remover. Remember to wear gloves and mask and apply in open air area, this stuff has a strong chemical smell. I can smell it through the Amazon package when it arrived. I stored the used bottle in a ziplock bag then in a used laundry detergent bucket to keep the smell contained. Knowing my wife would complain if she smells this stuff.
