AcuRite01781 12.5-Inch Wall Thermometer, Songbirds, Pack of 1, Multicolor

Beautiful and accurate!

I bought this to replace one exactly like it that I knocked off the porch and broke. This one is doing the job perfectly. AcuRite is right!

All that I expected. I'm not convinced of the accuracy in a narrow range.Red arrow tip can be hard to see at a distance.

Nice looking and made is USA but not accurate. A MFG with a name of "ACU-RITE" should have quality control and do spring monitoring calibration testing on their Thermometers. This is the 2nd unit I purchased made by them, and found the temperature readings were way off, this thermometer was off by 12degs. There is no way to calibrate the unit without bending the monitor spring mechanism in it holding clip. Very cheaply made I would not recommend anyone to buy their products.

Very beautiful to hang outside

Bought for my Mom - it's useless for her. The old one she had (same manufacturer) was easy to read from her door, but this one, based on the coloring, it's impossible to see where the needle is to get a read of the temperature. It's useless unfortunately.

I have the Bluebird model of this AcuRite outside wall thermos + another brand which was recently purchased on Amazon. Both are within 1 degree of each other on cold mornings in mid 30's and daytime in 60's (Spring). Wanted another bird one, so ordered the Songbirds edition. Have read reviews saying the temp is difficult to read due to busy background. The background is busy with birds, hello!!! Temp needle has a generous bright orange end which is very easy to see all the way across our deck (in the shade). Nice bird temp gauge with temp right on.

I bought this to replace an older thermometer for my shed outside. This is a peice of cardboard inside that fades and falls apart. I don't recommend.

I find the numbers are very hard to read from a distance. 20’ or so

I AM SO VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS THERMOMETER.It looks very pretty but so difficult to read.I would not recommend this item for outdoors for the above reason.

I would give it a 5* if the numbers were in black! It is very hard to read the temperature due to the numbers being white
