UPDATED (@ bottom)I purchased these in an XXL as I measured into that size in the chart and didn't want to have the hems cutting into my legs. My pant size is normally a L/10. I'm 5'5" and around 180 or so, athletic build.They fit nicely, but are slightly loose. I love them, they're truly swimsuit material. The lace on the sides is sturdy but not stiff, it stretches, and it's made to be in water! The waist comes up almost to my natural waist (which is really high), so I'm very happy with that! The front is a little loose on me, as most of my weight is in the rear. Because of this, I've ordered a size down (XL) to see if it fits a little bit better. Will update.Update: the XL fits much better! They were perfect for the beach. Beware the mesh sides, you will have a hilarious tan/sunburn if you don't apply sunscreen under the mesh.This item does shrink in the dryer! I know the instructions say not to put it in the dryer, someone else did it for me while trying to be helpful. Now that it has shrunk in the dryer, the XL is a little tight around my thighs at the hems like I was concerned about, but the XXL is still a little loose in the waist/front. I'm keeping them both because I love the material and let's be honest, we change sizes day to day.

I have NEVER had a more comfortable pair of swim shorts in my life!! The waist band is wide enough to hang onto a mom pooch and keep it in place and the material is strong and smooths everything out!!! I have never hung out all day in a bathing suit before but these are sooo comfortable I didn’t care to change once they dried!! I am ordering a back up pair!! OH and the mesh on the sides doesn’t allow your skin to poke through either!! IN LOVE!!!!

Sooo I have thick thighs... when wearing a regular bathing suit my thighs will rubs together and it can be very uncomfortable. I was taking my son to a water park so I knew we would be walking around alot. I bought these and it did the trick. They actually look really good on and the design is cute. My sister went with me and wants to order a pair herself.

Doesn’t ride up or look awkward ~anywhere~. The front is lined well. (I’d give it 5 stars if the back/crotch was also lined but it’s not see through anyway.) Don’t hesitate to purchase these, they are the best swim shorts and super cute with the cutout. I’m 5’2” 110-115 lbs and the medium fits perfectly; not tight or baggy. Will definitely purchase another pair. The green is a true Sage/Forrest green.

The material is just like swimsuit material. You can wear with your swimsuit or even wear as bike shorts with a t-shirt. They come up high which I love to help hide the "mom fluff".Definitely a great buy!

I am pleased with the swim pants even though they ended up a little longer than capri length on me, since I am 5ft 2 in. I sized up, thinking they would run small, but I could have ordered xl (I weigh 185lb). I like them, even though probably not as snug as they should be worn.

I have a 29-inch waist and the medium fit perfectly, I probably could have gotten a small and had it work but the medium felt just right. I think they're super cute, love the little design and the lining on the inside makes it so easy to use as swim shorts! You can also use them to work out or lounge. Very happy.

These were perfect with a tankini top to give a little extra coverage. The shorts can be rolled up a little to make them whatever length you are most comfortable with. When we are at the water area inside the amusement park I don't feel comfortable running around in regular swim bottoms, but these work great!
