My wife is bed ridden and has sores on her heels. These booties relieves her pain and helps her to sleep at night.

Cushion is comfortable and soft.

Edited on 9-23-2991. These really need at least 1 additional strap for a mobile person to keep on all night (a total of 3 straps would be even better) . If you turn in your sleep, it sill slip and be really cock-eyed in the morning. For me, it was hanging off to the side, but the strap was still around my ankle. Can by solved by attaching an additional strap. Great as is for paralyzed or immobile person.Original reviewThese foot protectors are super soft and pretty comfortable to wear. I do have to have the strap really tight for it to stay on my foot . I have had multiple foot surgeries and have a plate and screws that go up the back of my heel. I have to be super careful because even regular shoes can rub and break the skin -which would allow bacteria in and another infection. The boots are identical - no left or right (but that is ok). I have small feet and I am not sure these would work well for someone with large feet.The photo is misleading - it shows the seam going up the back of the foot. However, if you read the description, it says to put the seam on the sole of the foot.Complaint: It really needs 2 or even 3 straps instead of just 1. The one strap does make it easier to remove and if 3 straps were used, it would be so secure you might be tempted to try and walk in it.If the seller or manufacturer added a short instruction sheet, problem #1 could be easily solved.

My elderly mother needs to wear these in bed to prevent blisters from the sheets. She reports that they’re warm and lightweight and very comfy. More importantly, they provide good pain relief so she can get a good nights sleep.

Heel still rests in same position as in bed, with the ankle unsupported. There should be a very soft indention for the heel, then gradually less padding from ankle toward calf so there’s a smooth transition from edge of boot onto bed. Also, it’s not a normal position for our feet to point straight up vertically while resting. We need a slight incline of the footbed so our feet can naturally relax comfortably. (I don’t mean sideways). I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time. A great idea! Just needs all of the design team to actually wear them 3-4 hrs. to understand needed improvements. Then I would definitely re-order.

Walking on a smooth surface use caution they can be slippery. Wearing on carpet laying on a bed. Simply relaxing in a comfortable chair. They are wonderful. There is no pressure on heel sores.

Got these for my mom for prevention of heel breakdown. I use them during the day only. Onfor 2 hours off 2 hours. She sleeps on her side with a king size pillow between her knees and feet. I would recommend them especially for the elderly.

I had surgery and this is my the 4th pair of heel protectors. Unfortunately, like the others they are just not comfortable. These particular can not be slept in. They are too small not on fit but overall. On to a 5th try.
