I also have soft water in my house and I only need about 4 squirts— from a 30 ounce bottle with a squirt top I reused from body wash I bought previously. So I can’t say the same amount will work for everyone especially if you don’t have soft water!!

So I have had this bottle for quite a while. I still have a lot of the bottle left. I bought this product for the purpose of cleaning in hopes that my house would smell like wedding cake. The scent isn't as strong as some of the others in this line. It does smell very good though. my favorite way to use this product... - I have a large white fiberglass tub and boy does it get dirty! With a husband who tinkers with restoring a car and two children who are attracted to dirt, my tub gets nasty. I use this along with baking soda as a safer alternative to comet. The tub is large enough I have to get in it to clean it. I sprinkle a small amount our baking soda on each side of the tub, then add a few drops of this and stir it together to make a thick paste. Then I rub my cleaning cloth in it and it effortlessly takes off all of the grime. It's like I am cleaning the tub with almond icing. I can't help but smile when I do it. It has completely changed my relationship with my tub. -it is amazing on dirty grout also! I sprinkle a tiny bit (very small amount, much less than you think) on the grout lines on my flooring. Then one drop of the castile soap and rub it with a towel and again effortlessly the grout returned to a color I never knew was there. -I also make a all purpose cleaner by putting 1/4 cup castile (or less), a 1/2 cup borax and hot water in a squirt bottle. Shake before each use. It cleans my granite counter tops, stove top, doors, walls, you name it. This product really works well, especially if you are going all natural or trying to save money. This one investment will save you lots of money! The uses for it are endless. I listed my top uses for it. I have also made dish liquid and window cleaner. Tons of recipes can be easily found on the internet. It last much longer than you think it will. Another note- I also have the peppermint, which I bought only for the anti bacterial properties and I think I may use it more than I do this one, Only because the smell of the peppermint is stronger. And I like things that have a lot of scent. You can't go wrong with the product. It delivers, buy the smell you think you will enjoy the most. I am very happy I made this purchase and will buy more when I run out, but it's so super concentrated, I am certain it will be quite a while until that happens.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bronners. I had wanted to try it for quite a while, but hadn't gone around to it until I saw them in the sample section at Target. I thought I would give them a try. I was hooked right away. I love that they are natural, vegetarian soaps made responsibly. I got the lavender and peppermint initially. I like both, but I actually think peppermint is my favorite. I use it every morning and it helps wake me up a little (has a great tingly sensation). After reading about the company history, I decided that even if I hated the soap (which I don't, obviously) I would buy from this company! Their products are made in the USA and their employees are treated wonderfully. They actually practice fair trade and when they say organic, you can actually trust that it is. The company is very active in social causes. There aren't too many companies like this anymore, so I think it is important to support them. My husband was a little skeptical (as usual) but the soap spoke for itself and now he is a convert, too. He is very picky about scents, but he has not complained of a single one. We decided to try the almond scent since there were so many good reviews and we both could agree on it. It smells very much like almond extract, which I love. It goes without saying, though, that if you don't like that smell, then you won't like this particular scent. Like all of the ones I have tried, the scent is quite strong, but natural smelling. Being a natural soap without weird chemicals you can't pronounce, the lather on this is minimal, but you get used to it (once you get over the mindset that the lather is what makes you clean). However, if you must have your lather, adding it to a shower pouf creates an abundance. I have tried the soap for cleaning and it works quite well. I use it on my extremely sensitive and adult acne-prone skin and it has not caused a breakout. It rinses away cleanly. My daughter and I both have eczema and we both have been using this soap without problems. Bottom Line: I cannot recommend this soap or this brand enough! It may seem expensive at first glance, but a little goes a long way. Personally, I think it is worth every penny.

Took this on a recent camping trip and it worked great. Used it for body wash, dishes, and even washing a few clothes—one bottle handled it all. It’s biodegradable so I felt fine using it near a stream, and the almond scent is light and not overpowering. Rinses clean, no residue. Definitely bringing it on every trip from now on.

Have used Dr Bronner’s forever. Used the peppermint for its fresh smell and cooling sensation. Have been using the almond lately for its soothing effect on the skin. I dilute in half with water. Highly recommend.

I really like this soap. One of the main reasons I bought it is because it’s made with clean ingredients and is a great option if you’re trying to avoid unnecessary or potentially harmful additives. The scent is amazing, and it lathers surprisingly well. The only downside is that it seems a bit more watery than I’d prefer, so I went through the bottle faster than I expected despite its size. Even so, the quality, clean ingredients, and great scent make it worth repurchasing. I’ll definitely be buying it again.

I grew up with this stuff. Every house should have it. Life hack: fill a spray bottle about 1/10 full of this stuff, top up with water. Great spray for car upholsteries-- just spray and use a terrycloth towel to wipe grime away. Leaves a fantastic scent!

das beste duschgel, das ich je gekauft habe - und ich habe wirklich schon viel ausprobiert. ich kaufe seit einiger zeit schon nur noch vegane bio- naturprodukte, da ich kein tier wegen meinen duschritualen leiden lassen möchte und ich keine chemie auf der haut haben möchte. dieses duschgel - oder eigentlich eher duschwasser, denn die konsistenz ist sehr dünnflüssig - ist sehr ergiebig und hat winen unfassbar guten duft. von mir aus könnte er ruhig lang auf der halt halten. die haut hat sich anfangs für mich komisch trocken angefühlt nach der verwendung, an was ich mich allerdings schnell gewöhnt habe und die haut ist nicht ausgetrocknet, eher einfach sauber :-). der preis ist nicht gerade günstig, aber wenn man bedenkt, dass so eine flasche ca. 2-3 monate hält, liegt der preis pro woche bei ca. 2,50-2,70 €, was ich total in ordnung finde für ein fair trade und bio produkt. ich bleibe bei diesem duschgel, im vorratsschrank steht schon die nächste flasche.
