I bought this product to use for my network home lab, it was in great condition , came sooner then i thought it would. worked perfectly what i purchased it for. router is very well made , no loose parts , has been working for weeks now.

I had a previous version of this box running for 3+ years with pfSense as a firewall/vpn. I bought this new model to replace it when it failed. Works perfectly and absolutely no issues installing/configuring/running pfSense. This new one runs noticeably cooler than the old one.Turns out it was just the SD that failed in the old one so replacing it should bring it back to life.

Good quality IPC. We are using these in an outdoor environment, and while I cant testify as to how they'll do in 5 years, they are good quality out of the box. We're a BizSpark member, so it's a big plus for me that they come unlicensed. I type in a product code and I'm off to the races.

I'm using this to run PfSense on, and at a year in I can safely say it's reliable. Config of any BSD install is interesting, but this one was less interesting than most. It has Intel NICs so it escapes some of the issues that plague other mini PCs like ports hanging up over the course of a few weeks, or odd instabilities. I'd really like the ability to failover to another drive with mirroring at a BIOS level, but it's not a huge issue, especially considering how poorly most board level RAIDs tend to work.You won't get full rated performance on the NICs, they CPU saturate before they saturate the link, but if you are filling a 1Gig link you need to be looking for some higher end hardware anyway.Temps seem reasonable and stable, even in the back of a network closet. Set it up and forget it!
