I wanted to find and study books about the magical properties of herbs but this book has even more. It details useful information about plants, herbs, trees, moon cycles, and more. It was a digestible read that wasn’t intimidating or confusing, with easy to follow instructions. I took notes on various herbs and plants for my practice and now have information about plants I’ve never even heard of. I didn’t realize that even plants have connections to different planets and zodiac signs. The cover is also gorgeous! Even if I stop using it, the book will look great on a shelf or altar.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It provided a lot of information on various aspects of being a green witch. It explains different plants, trees, crystals and ways of using them.

The cover is beautiful and is a nice addition to a witchy bookshelf, and the information is helpful especially for those newer to the practices. But the copy I received repeats itself. Pages 83-97 appear twice with the same section heading and identical language Chapter 5, The power of Plants and Plants in Practice. Very odd. But otherwise a good simple introduction book to working with plants, the Earth, the seasons. The Resources section and the Glossary are helpful additions.

I got this for my sister in law who loves crystals and energy work. She loves it! She carries it with her everywhere! I bought a 2nd one for a white elephant gift party. It was a big hit.

I like the quick guide aspect to it, I can just look up and herb and find the basic properties. Basic beginner info, doesn't have everything of course.
