This Bible does a very thorough job of not only telling but portraying key Bible stories. If you are a visual learner this is excellent due to the comic book format. Yet the telling of each story remains rich. It is of course in chronological order and when needed the next story recaps the previous. For adults that aren't familiar with the flow of Bible history and the significance of how the Old Testament stories tie into the New Testament this picture Bible will get you up to speed on the basics. This is relatively minor but one thing that bothered me was the racial portrayal of characters as predominantly white. One of the few darker skinned characters in the picture Bible is a servant go figure. Even Bible scientists/historians have long understood that most of the people, if any were not Anglo Saxon. This Picture Bible is still worth having because the Word of God is far more important than any of our shades of color. I've bought a few of these to give away and we use it in our daycare and at church. Buy and be blessed!

I love this book! The illustrations are beautiful. The stories are accurate to the bible. For someone looking for an easy read bible or for children, this is a great way to start reading the bible! It keeps your interest and easy to understand! I showed it to one of our Pastor who teaches a Discovering Faith class as well as prepare you for baptism and he LOVES it. He wanted all the info for this book because he too, feels this is a great starter bible! So glad I found this and at such a reasonable price! The book arrived in perfect shape. Not a thing wrong with it!

This book was in very good condition. Cover a little faded as was described. I was SO pleased to receive it and in such good condition. My family had this Bible when I was a child. I remembered it well and all the wonderful pictures. My father often read it to us before bedtime. It goes through the entire Bible in story form with lots of pictures. I bought it for my boyfriend's sons this Christmas. Now, he reads it with them before bedtime prayers. When I am there, we all read it together, taking turns. We will be marrying and adding to the number of children and are so happy to have this Bible for our family. It is very special to us.

I had this Bible growing up, and now my daughter has it. It was instrumental in giving me a foundational understanding of the Bible and Christianity. To this day I recall certain stories and concepts along with their accompanying pictures from this Bible. This Bible is far richer and deeper than other children’s Bibles.

This is such a great way to learn the Bible from an early age. I bought it for our son when he was 4 years old. His father read it to him every night before he went to bed. All 3 of our sons loved it. So I looked at Amazon to see if I could find another copy! Now our son is reading it to his son every night. This is definitely a "winner!"

Best kids bible out there hands down. This is a fun and exciting rendering of the scriptures that does not leave out the important things like SIN! It has detailed somewhat realistic pictures so kids might get the idea this stuff really happened. The words are very close to the real bible but a little more simplistic and condensed.

This is a great book. AND ALSO ... Best Children's Bible in my opinion. I had it as a child and have been looking for one like it and have not found anything that has come close
