CitizenWomen's Eco-Drive Dress Classic Watch in Two-tone Stainless Steel, Mother of Pearl Dial (Model: EW1670-59D)

I took the pictures before ripping out the protective plastic strips. But it's a keeper! I love everything about it. I own another one (blue dial) from the same brand and I can say that they are both excellent watches. The mother-of-pearl dial on this one is so delicate and not annoyingly shiny. The overall watch is not annoyingly shiny, which I like. The "rose gold" tone is very muted and just adds elegance to it. The measurements in the description are spot on. The clasp is smooth and easy to use. The dial has just enough contrast that I can read the time immediy. Versatile, light, beautiful! The only thing I personally don't care about is the day counter and my blue dial one has it too. I don't bother settind it at all, but it's not a reason to take a star away from an otherwise perfectly good watch. The eco drive works great. Highly recommend it!

This watch is perfect for a small wrist! I'll admit that the date is small, but that is to be expected on this size watch. I like that it is two-tone, so it will go with any other jewelry and the mother-of-pearl face is classy. I was looking for a durable watch that would be an alternative to my clunky plastic banded dive watch - which I was wearing everyday due to its durability. I also wanted a watch that doesn't require a battery change and is solar driven.Some people here say that solar watches only have a limited number of battery years, but my other Citizen watches made specifically for scuba diving have been going on 15 years - and I do use them for diving. I even bought a second Citizen scuba watch - identical to the first, since I scratched the crystal while fossil hunting (carrying rocks) and have trouble reading it underwater. Both watches are still going strong!This watch can be work casual, or dressed up and is not imposing or over-stated. As others have said, it is simply elegant.I'm still not certain how to set the date, and as soon as I have some extra time will look this up. I know that most watches with the analog date do not know how to discern one month from another (and the day variability), so it is necessary that I learn how to set it easily if I'm to use it for that purpose. When I figure this out, I may write an update.Update: No secret to setting this analog watch date. It is the same for all of them. Instead of traveling to pay a jeweler. And I now have my own tools to do this myself, if it needs size adjustment again.Good looking and great watch!

I love it. The biggest downside for me is that is could be hard to see the time cause the hands will blend with the face and also the date window is very tiny..In the dark or low light it is impossible to see the timei love the colors and the eco drive.

Beautiful quality watch, keeps great time, was a gift, and I adjusted the links easily with a separate tool, a little challenging to set due to the small size, but looks great and keeps excellent time, high recommend.

I had a Citizen watch with a similar face when I was a young person, loved it and lost it so after all these years when I found this one I was very pleased. With the lovely mother of pearl face, the Eco Drive (no more replacing batteries) and thanks to Amazon, the price I ordered immediately. The watch band had to be resized which was expected and since the watch is well built and a bit heavy I would suggest having it adjusted snugly to keep it where it belongs.The watch is quite small, another feature I was looking for and very nice looking. I cannot comment on the glowing hands part yet as I have not tried that out.All in all a lovely watch at a great price.

Needed a two tone watch and decided on the Citizen because of the name, price, and reputation of the brand. The Eco drive function is a wonderful idea since I switch out my watches frequently and no longer have to be concerned with dead batteries. It takes a few days for the luminescence on the hands/hours to fully charge but I didn't intentionally sit in the sun to charge the watch. It works beautifully as a timepiece. It is comfortable to wear, not too heavy or clunky, and very secure on the wrist. The two tone detailing is subtle on the band and a nice contrast from the face of the watch. The dial is just beautiful. I feel the date is a little difficult to read at some angles, it is a bit small but still attractive to the overall design of the piece. I am very pleased with this watch and the prompt service. Thank you.

Very beautiful watch but much smaller than anticipated, hard to see the date.The Rose gold looks yellow gold. Very disappointing . I’m not sure if I have the correct watch , everything else though does match the description.I have not tried it out snorkeling yet. So I’m not sure if it will pass the test there but I am very hopeful.
