See the moose before you hit it (and installation work around on 1990 Plymouth Voyageur)
What with a crazed plastic lens (that won't buff out any more), the headlights are very dim. Driving in moose country with dim headlights is nerve wracking. With no aftermarket headlight assembly available for a 1990 Plymouth Voyageur, replacing the bulbs with the brightest I could find (and buffing the lenses again) was the only solution. These bulbs are MUCH brighter than the old halogen bulb, and have a very white light. There was a hitch installing them though.Installation note: The instructions call for inserting the LED bulb in the correct slots and locking it in with a 45 degree twist. My old Voyageur has a retaining ring that twists, the bulb stays fixed. The problem was that the fan on the end of the new LED bulb was too big to slide the retaining ring over it.Nicely, the mounting bracket on the LED bulb was held on with a single P0 Phillips head screw.0) Mark on the headlight assembly retaining ring which side faces forward1) Mark the hole on the bracket that has the screw with a pencil mark, and remove the screw.2) Push the mounting bracket (with the O-ring) off of the end of the bulb.3) Slide the retaining ring on, facing the direction marked in step 0)4) Push bulb into assembly (on my car, the "Auxbeam" text was up (see photo)5) Lock bulb in placeNow I hope to see the moose in the road with enough time to stop before hitting it.Update: still pretty happy, but I would say that the “high beam” isn’t so much higher as much as it is a brighter “low beam”. It doesn’t shine much further down the road, but it does make the near to mid range objects more visible.

I’ll still buy from auxbeam.
EDIT: I’m not that smart, I pulled the light out to find out there’s a tiny adjusting screw that I could pull out, turn the mounting bracket 180° and put back in. Now my headlights work phenomenally!! I’ve deleted the previous review because I’m dumb and I should have known better. Your lights may come upside down, the screw is located in the black plastic, you’ll need a glasses screwdriver for it if your low beams are shining higher than your high beams.Lots of questions arise with how to make the headlights fit through the retainer ring. You’ll need sand paper. I used 80 grit and lightly sanded the tabs of the retainer ring until it fit. Didn’t take much time either. Then it fit just fine.

There's more bad than good
They plugged right in to my existing harness on my '98 Dodge Ram 1500. They weren't as bright as I expected, but were still much brighter than the bulbs that were in it. Fitting the retaining ring over the fan was a hassle - I ended up cutting some of the tabs off, and bending the remaining tabs, then bending the tabs back once it was over.At first they worked fine. They were positioned correctly so that I had regular lights and bright lights. Then out of the blue, one side stopped working, but the fan still starts running. I'm trying to determine if it's a wiring problem or a problem with the light itself. If one of the other reviews are right and these are 9007 instead of 9004 then that could be the problem.

Nice and bright, not much high beam effect though, all LED's may be like that?
Other than a totally crunched up sticker that would have looked good on my tool box, I love them! These are my first LED's and there isn't much difference between low and high beam but maybe all LED may be like that, or maybe it's just the design of these. The low beams look 100% better than my stock bulbs in my 1997 B3500 Dodge Van... Hey -AUXBEAM- watch how you pack your nice sticker it was crushed beyond repair even with heat! I wasn't expecting one, but it would have been a nice addition to my collection...

Direct fit 97 zj
Bought these for my 97 Jeep zj. They were a direct swap, full install took maybe 10 minutes. Way better then oem. I will say you really don’t see much of a difference from brights to regular lights but these are 10x brighter than my stock lights so I’m happy.

Well then.
So I was very sceptical. Plug and play that is better in every way? Yeah right, gtfo. I was expecting a white or a blueish/white light, that was slightly brighter. But at least the yellow color was gone. So anywho, put them in and BAM! Jesus these are bright! Like a crazy difference. Very impressed, ordering a pair for the wife's car now.97 Dodge Ram

Don't buy
When you click your lights to go from low beam to high beams, there is little to no change in the brightness. I would buy a different brand. I will be buying and different brand.
