If you're looking for nice magnetic curtain rods (yes you get two) for a steel door then this might be the one! I ordered 1 of them for a curtain panel on my front steel door. I got it yesterday afternoon after ordering it on the 5th and had to put it up over a small oval window on my front door just for extra privacy. I used a curtain door panel that I made years ago for another door on another house, had it for years and used it on my old back door on this house for years until I got new doors put in. The only problem was the panel could be a few inches longer as the magnets need to hang on a flat surface so this part was a little tricky being that one side of my panel is a bit longer than the other side. I have yet to find a lace curtain door panel that I like so I'm going to have to make the best of it for now. It does cover up the whole window though, just that I can't mess with it too much otherwise the magnets won't stay and it will come down. So far I'm very happy with it and would recommend anyone that's interested in it to go ahead and buy it. It doesn't stick out very far either. I haven't tried it on a wood surface either as I have no need to and it's suppose to work on that too. Can't beat the price compared to the other ones I've looked at. **An update as now the top rod curves in the middle and it doesn't have a heavy panel on it just some very light sheer ones. So kind of disappointed that it did this to me as why I got the longer ones for added strength so it wouldn't do this but it did and if you don't have it lined up right from top to bottom the magnets and try to make it stretch out like it should be for the curtain to lay right it will not lay flat on the door and end up coming down. So have to be very careful with not messing with it too much. Why I changed it to 3 stars out of 5 now.** **When I ordered these rods, they were advertised as a set of two. So not misleading at all.**

The magnetic rod is good but the magnet could be stronger so it has a better hold, and in the "Question & Answer" section it said that you get two curtain rods, but you only get one curtain rod. I contacted the seller to make sure and they told me that it is only for one rod even though the Q&A said different. Also, my rod came without the sticky metal pieces for a wood door so after contacting the seller about it I did not get an answer so I used command stickies for a better hold.

I have two of these on a metal french door holding lightweight lace curtains and both are bowing in the middle. Very easy to install and great if you don't want to drill holes or looking for a temporary solution. These will probably be fine if they only span a short distance, not the max they say they will.

I bought this for my back south-facing door & hung very light sheer curtains. Any light catch on the curtains pulls down the whole rod. If the curtains aren't touched at all, its find but I hoped for a stronger hold. My dog easily knocks the whole rod down.

It is a nice curtain rod. I was disappointed because I bought this thinking you got two curtain rods. Others had commented that you get two, but you only get one. Other than that it seems like it will work well. The magnet isstrong. And it looks just like the picture.

Holds tight to metal door. Supports the curtain I have just fine.

The first time someone came to the door and I drew back the curtain, the rod fell on the floor.

Horrible! Holds absolutely NO weight! I used it on a metal door without the sticky pads, as they said would work, but it would not. So I adhered the sticky pads...still the rods own magnet will not hold fast to the metal strip! Way too weak!
