We regularly purchase these and other J-Basket noodles.

Delicious noodles, very easy to make. The taste is great. I bought them to make a cold noodle salad and they held up really well in the fridge after cooking. I will definitely be ordering the again. I would say they are a little smaller than spaghetti noodles in thickness.

I had placed an emegency order of these, as every Asian supermarkert around me had decided to be sold out when I was craving some (summer is the season for soumen, after all). Shipping time was quick and they came right on time. The noodles smelled great, tasted great, and were refreshing and cool to eat on a humid, 88°F/31°C day. The problem lies with the shipping method a.k.a. the container used for shipping. The bag of noodles was thrown into one white bag, which was then placed into a brown shipping bag, which the warehouse then treated it like a sack of potatoes. It arrived with packaging tape wrapped around it, a sign of "great" things to be found once opened. A quick feel over the white bag was enough to confirm it: these noodles were shaken and thrown worse than a near black out drunk person falling down a flight of stairs. Peeling the white bag away visually confirmed the damaged goods. The once long noodles had been reduced to stubs no taller than my own height (where are all my short people at). I still got and still will get enjoyment out of these noodles. Please find me the person with enough money to throw away an entire bag of noodles and give them my number. From reading other reviews, this seems to be a common issue that can be solved by shipping them in a more sturdy container, like a box. Boxes are far easier to reuse and recycle as well. This review could've been an easy 5 stars if it weren't for the massacre of the noodles.

These cook quickly, the texture is great and the taste is Excellent, I used this product daily so many ways to create a perfect one bowl meal

The noodles came in a box and in great condition. The noodles are exactly what I wanted and cost less and have more in the package than other brands

Sooo good

Japanese Somen Noodles. Lovely delicate flavour of high quality wheat. Very thin noodles. They're the smoothest noodles I've had; have to add broth or sauce immediately or they glue together, they're so fine. Absolutely delicious. The local Asian grocery store only carry packages that are half this size for the same price of just under $6. Time to stock up.

Genuine Japanese noodle. If you are into Chinese or Japanese noodle soup, this is the type of noodle you would enjoy.

The noodles are very smooth, thin, also chewy. It's very tasty. My little tip is, when you put a bundle into boil water, separate the noodles as soon as possible. If you don't, then the noddles may stick together becoming a thick roll. After cooking a few times, you will master your own cooking time for perfect tenderness.
