Postive experience but there is a room for improvement
There is a little glossary book that has meaning of all the words from the coursebook in English ,so that it will be for one to understand. Both the coursebook (red) and workbook ( grey ) has 2CDs each to equip one with correct pronunciationsBoth the coursebook n workbook are very user friendly so you will enjoy learning from this bookPackage- the package was really good , they even sent an OTP to ensure that it was sent to the correct hands , But ya I would request the sellers to have a bubble wrap on the item coz I corners were bent a bitDelivery- Even in the pandemic I received my package within a week ( early delivery) , so Im convienced with the service

Perfect set of beginner German guide
To generalize, this set of books might be a bit tough for complete beginners, otherwise someone taking a class or being familiar with the language can access it because it does not have translation. It is only German scripted nevertheless anyone can muster the efforts to learn A1 level with this set of books. It's got pleasant illustrations too and audio CD's for listening purpose.

Amazing book, helps a lot!
I bought the book for my German language course at Goethe Institut. However, the book can be used on its own too, without a professor. You'll probably have to use the internet and watch a bunch of videos to get the hang of it, but ultimately the book in itself is enough. It comes with a Glossary that has the meanings of all the important words in the excercises. The book also gives you access to the audio platform online, so even if you can't play the CDs, you'll be fine.Highly recommend to those who want to learn the language genuinely and are willing to work hard.

It is all in German
Nice book, however if you are writing Level I exam may be this book will help you. Other wise it is very difficult to learn German from this book because there are no translations available. The pictures, colors and placement of examples are too chaotic for a new learner. If you are learning by yourself - don't buy this book. Also who is using CD now days? There were 2 CD's which came along with this book, which I cant use because my laptops don't even have a CD player. I would have preferred a USB stick. They do have a website where you can go & download all the Audio - but it is such a pain to do this.
