Tired a being a loser? Then get this collection!
There I was on Christmas Eve, drunk and friendless on the New Jersey turnpike trying to sell hubcaps. I had no prospects, no friends, no future. Suddenly, through the fog and haze, an angel appeared. It handed me this awesome 8 disc collection of live Alice Cooper shows! What a gift!Since listening to it, my life has changed. Old ladies no longer hiss and spit at me, children don’t throw rocks at me anymore and women in bars stopped flicking peanut shells at the back of my head. I’ve been accepted to Yale on a full scholarship, but I’m holding out for M.I.T. (fingers crossed!) I’m interviewing for an executive level job at N.A.S.A. I’m somebody now!Seriously, I don’t know if buying this 8 disc collection of live Alice will do any of those things, but I can say that it’s a must-have for any fan of the Coop. The product came in excellent condition and on time. Check it out; you won’t be disappointed...unless you like being drunk and friendless.

Nice box set
Haven"t listened to the complete set as of yet. Of course, the 1st cd sound quality was a bit off. To be expected with older recordings and the quality of the source. Regardless, like the set

Killer live 8-disc set!
Killer live 8-disc set.The 1971 Detroit show is very raw, in sound an performance but is incredible to hear because it's so early in their career!1975 Los Angeles is a great Welcome to my Nightmare show, performed bery good although Alice has some difficulties hitting the high notes, plus his voice is better suited to loud rocking numbers.1978 Saginaw has been circulating forever and is a really enjoyable listen, the band hitting on all cylinders this evening.1979 San Diego has a number of tracks off "From the Inside"! The songs off "From the Inside" don't translate as well live, mainly because most of Alice's show is fast and loud and these numbers tend to slow things down to a halt. Still another great one though!1980 El Paso Texas is interesting because it starts off with some Flush the Fasion songs on disc one, plus "Road Rats" from Lace & Whiskey. And again, Alice's voice isn't great every night and this unfortunately was one of them. Still it's great to have the entire broadcast with interviews spread over 2 discs. The 1987 and '95 shows are great for the set lists, but it must be said that alot of the classic Alice tunes lose alot in translation with the newer members, they really need the feel of the original band for the die-hards, but the updated versions are good don't get me wrong.Since all are broadcassts the sound quality is pretty good if not excellent throughout, although as I said, the Detroit '71 show is a little raunchy but a great listening experience!!MUST HAVE!
