Another thing I’m a little in awe of is how Phillip’s can give us book after book with authentic, complex characters, setting them up in an impossible situation where they could never be together, and still she orchestrates them through to their happily ever after.Again set in the Club TEN29 world, Landon and Vivi's story is no different. If you’re new to the series, Landon and his two best friends opened TEN29 to honor Landon's twin brother who was killed in a hazing incident in college. New internet sensation, Vivi Z, is the musical talent they'd like to sign for the club's summer intern program, but, as they have yet to learn, her connection to their past is too close for comfort.I love everything about this story. The characters are realistic and relatable and their story kept me glued to the page. Yes, there's plenty of steam with a little humor sprinkled in, but the heart of this story is just that -- its heart. The emotion is genuine and tangible, and it easily consumed me, making me vested in Landon and Vivi's journey to forever.Unless you’re a reader who needs everything in sequence, you can start with this book and catch up with the others, because there's enough detail to bring you up to speed on the other guys while it whets your appetite for their stories, as well. Either way, put this on your TBR so you don’t miss out on these endearing characters and their fantastic, gripping, heartfelt story.

In this third book, we get the story of Landon Bennett and it's not one you're going to want to miss.Landon Bennett is one of the owners of the club TEN29 with his friends Tanner Grayson and Jason Dare. After some not so great press recently, Landon has come up with the idea that they should have a summer musical resident to try to bring back the crowds to the club. Leave it to him to have found a viral sensation that he's got his sights set on to be the perfect act.Vivi Zane is doing all she can to get noticed in the music business, but so far she hasn't hit paydirt. Well, that was until a performance of hers has gone viral and her voice is being heard in more places than she could have imagined. When she's approached by Landon to take the summer residency they are offering, she feels like it may be too good to be true. Is it?Landon and Vivi have immediate chemistry, but when it comes to light that there is another tie between them, will it be too much for them to overcome. Or will they be able to put the past in the past and see where their insane chemistry can go?I was completely captivated by this fast-paced and enjoyable story. This is definitely my favorite of this series so far!

This one is Landon's story and it's a doozy!Landon experiences instant attraction with the singer they want to hire for the summer for the club, one Vivienne Clark, but sooner or later, even the attraction between them can't outrun the secrets that darken their shared past. Emotional, well-written, well-paced, and with some hot button issues, the sacrifices each of them is eventually willing to make for each other and for love is heart-warming. Enjoy!

This is the last book in this series by Carly. I have been looking forward to reading Landon's story with Vivi. As we know from the first two it was Landon's twin that was killed in the hazing incident which shaped these three men's lives. I love how Carly took something that still happens today in colleges across the world and brings it to the front with the consequences for all those involved. The emotions are real, the pain is real and the changes an event like this makes in a person are permanent and real. Yes this is a true love story and has some really tough moments to read as the pain of the past collides with the future for Landon. He has found himself a woman who completes him, who is the other half of his soul after thinking he would never feel that way again with the death of his twin. However, it's not as simple as just loving her. He doesn't know who she is when he and the guys hire her to sing in Club Ten29, the place they started in memory of the brother they all lost that fateful night. When they find out her identity it throws them all into the past. Vivi doesn't realize at first who Landon is either, but when she does she tries to back out of the job but Landon won't let her. When the secret finally comes out, there is pain and hurt, love and healing but it takes a while for them to realize Levi wouldn't want them to stay stuck in the past and would want his brother to find true love and happiness.Please don't miss this book, Landon and Vivi's happiness and love story is worth the heartbreaking journey and it's one of the best books I have read in a while. I won't soon forget this one.
