Look beat up after easy use and dishwasher

Juuuust a step above the crappy plastic kids plates and classy enough to use everyday. Only guests get the ceramic plates.

These plates hold up fairly well, but not perfectly to the microwave. They are lighweight and mostly unbreakable. They do, however, scratch easily and over time and too much microwave become brittle. This is my second time to buy them so I must like them!

The on machined edge of the plate has a compressed plastic lip that can be sharp and certainly not pleasant to handle. A little sanding would have been very easy to do at the Machine level on these plates and they did not do so. Also the mixture is inconsistent and is visible on the surface of the plate and just makes them look a little on the cheap side. They do however function for what I intended which is plates for the children but I probably would not order them again

Only 3 star on durability because I haven't used them very much and not sure how they will stand up over repeated microwave use. The 4 start overall rating is due to the plate changing colors after use in microwave, giving the plate a blotchy appearance. Not sure if this is a natural process of a wood based product.

Bought these to replace our old blue speckled melamine plates in our camp gear. Almost a perfect color match, and just the right size. A little disappointed in the rough edges, however I scrubbed with a Brillo pad and they’re nice and smooth now.

So far so good. I haven't owned these long but excited about the sustainability of these. I am washing these by hand since they are being used in my camper and I noticed in a review the talk about bending and breaking after continuous use in a dishwasher. Shouldn't be surprising since if you wash your wooden anything in a dishwasher with high heat it's going to warm the wood. I haven't had an issue and don't think I will hand washing them.One issue is the larger 10" plates come with stickers right in the middle of every plate. These are bothersome to remove and I had to put some WD40 on the sticky parts to rub them off and then wash them. Why not put the stickers on the bottom of the plate?

I microwaved a small pot pie on this plate. When I went to take the the pot pie out, the plate was too hot to touch. Once I had the plate out of the microwave oven I noticed a bubble had formed on the plate. Contrary to the claim by the seller, these plates are not microwave safe.
