I purchased this hat for Ren Faire and didnt know what to expect. I was blow away when it arrived and it arrived early. This hat is amazing. I put it on and it fits perfectly. American Hat Makers also sent sizers with it to adjust it if I needed it. I put it on and bent over to see if it would stay on my head. That's my way of testing it and it stayed even when I shook my head.Long story short, American Hat Makers have gotten themselves another loyal customer. I will be ordering more hats in the future. This hat is super high quality which is reflected in the price. The leather is thick and solid and the hat is constructed very well. I usually wear a 7 5/8 size hats and this one fit perfectly and although I tried the various sizing inserts I didn’t need them and left the original sweat bands which are removable and washable. Can’t beat that! I added a hat band that I already had as well as a stampede strap because I don’t want to lose this treasure while riding. The packaging was also professional as the box had an inner cardboard frame and padding to protect the hat during shipping. A good instruction booklet in real all American english is included. This is the most pricey hat I ever purchased but it’s well worth it and I can see it will last me a long time. I will consider buying from this company again.

Without a doubt this is the very best hat that I have ever purchased. This hat is of exceptional quality, materials, and style which is well worth the price. It is constructed very well of thick leather and is solid. It fit perfectly. The manner in which they packed and shipped the hat was excellent which was one of the primary reasons why I selected American Hat Makers. I added a hat band and other special enhancements to make this great hat uniquely mine. I can see that it will last for my life time. I will definitely consider buying from American Hat Makers again, and highly recommend them.

I love this hat! Quality made. Came with sweatbands that are used to adjust the size so you get a perfect fit! It is awesome.

The order arrived in a timely fashion and was very well packaged and without damage. The quality of the hat was exceptional and actually exceeded my expectations.
