Work great. Quality stuff. Hopefully repel the "kid thieves". We all know a real thief will still get the lights. I used locktite too.

Quick way to deter or slow down some would be thieves. But this set doesn't seem to fit the lag bolt, gonna try re-threading this to work.

"You get what you pay for"......I'm sick of that. You do get what you pay for and sometimes you pay too much for what you get. Nevertheless, this was a necessary evil. I'm dumb enough to pay the price, so I can't fault them for trying. The quality is fine. I wish they would have omitted the tool so I could save fifty cents....or at least sell a two pack for a discounted price. C'mon man!!! $60 to secure two damn ditch lights?!?! I already paid $400+ for the lights...you couldn't throw these in? Nevertheless, if they are what you need and you are dumb enough to pay the price they will do the job and they will do it well.

As described. Buy two kits if your doing 2 lights. Will help deter some theives

Terrible product :(Any motivated thief could easily remove the star-bolt with a pair of vice grips.The security kit actually comes with a disclaimer from Rigid stating that they do not warranty the product.Spend your money on red lock-tight instead.

Here's why the 3 star review.....First of all Rigid is poking our eye's out for this security hardware stuff and the thing that is the real kicker on this you almost have to buy it if you don't want your lights stolen, if you own a jeep and add accessories like this you probably have a lot of money in your jeep. Oh yes you can do other things like put lock tight on the bottom nut but you really don't want to do that with the side screws if you ever want to take your lights off one day. If you use red lock tight which is what I recommend, when you go to take off the lights you have to heat up the nut to loosen the lock tight and can't do that with the screws that mount in the side of the light that's why you still need the tamper proof screws that come in the kit. If someone out there has a better idea I'd like to hear about it. And as for Rigid I would like to see them come up with a better system to prevent the the thieves out there from stealing our investment. Oh ya and stop poking our eyes out on this anti theft stuff you sell.
