Sculpture Techniques (Ceramic Arts Handbook Series)

I didn’t realize when I bought this that this was composed of articles that had already been published in Ceramics Monthly, which I have access to their archives so could have looked all of these up for free. Unfortunately this is for real beginners, as I don’t think I learned anything new, and was actually upset that some of the articles left out really important information, or that one of the chapters/articles calls the substance the artist used Egyptian Paste (it is no longer called that by museums, anthropologists or archeologists or art historians, it is called Glazed Composition) and that she had altered it so much it no longer self-glazed at all and barely held together, it was no longer Glazed Composition and no one questioned anything about appropriating a material that the artist had no cultural connection to. Overall this books wasn’t helpful at all.
