Quality, and quick and easy to use. I LOVE IT.
The IT team at my job recommended this speaker for meetings. It was expensive so I was reluctant but I did pretty good research and this one really was the best option as far as features and functionality, and I’d rather pay the money and have that than pay less and have less. Anyways, I LOVE THIS SPEAKER. I take a lot of conference calls and meetings and sometimes my headset would act up leaving me frantically trying to get my laptop to be my main source of speaker/mic which was a pain. Once you Bluetooth this to your ur laptop, anytime you turn it on it automatically connects immediately which I love. The sound quality is great. I love the ease of tapping the mute button in the middle. You just tap is so lightly and it goes on and off. That way I can stay unmuted on the meeting software while still being able to use mute quickly off and on as needed. I have a noise machine in my office that sounds like a waterfall, and I asked the team if they could hear background noise or my noise machine and they couldn’t hear it at all. It’s got a great and sturdy case the keeps it protected and easy to bring with me on the go or put into my drawer without it getting banged up. The weight of it is pretty good, you can tell it is a quality speaker. Honestly, I was going to expense this to my company and one of my bosses didn’t understand why I wanted a speaker (I tried out the one the IT team had before buying my own)… needless to say I purchased it on my own out of spite because it is an excellent speaker and so convenient… and he’s seen it being used and thinks it’s cool and guess what I’m not sharing and this one has my name on it. Maybe he will get one to expense out now lol 😂 Spend the money, get the quality speaker! 🔊

Good Value for the Road Warrior - Anker PowerConf vs. Jabra Speak 510
My job is 90+% travel and has been for the past 8 years. I've used every iteration of Jabra portable speakerphones (410, 510, and now 710) and a number of Plantronics portable speakerphones as well. The PowerConf is a great v1.0 entry for Anker. For the purposes of this review, I'm comparing the Anker PowerConf against the Jabra 510 as I think that's the closest 1:1 comparison. Where the Anker PowerConf wins: - USB Charging: Adding the ability to charge other devices via USB is GENIUS. I previously carried a Jabra speakerphone and an Anker PowerCore in my bag, but now I only need the Anker PowerConf. Anker makes some fantastic batteries/chargers, and this device is one of them. - Cost: The PowerConf comes in about 33% less than the Jabra 510. Anker frequently has sales on their products, so I imagine it will be on sale at even greater savings than 33%. - Bluetooth Multipoint: The Anker allows for multiple concurrent connections (multipoint). Note: It will only play/send audio from one device at a time, but it's much easier to switch the audio/mic from your PC (if you're listening to music) to your mobile phone (if you get a call). - Carrying Case: The carrying case for the Anker PowerConf is a hardshell case, whereas the Jabra ones are all neoprene. I feel like this adds additional protection when it's jostling around inside my bag. Where it's a tie: - Microphone Noise Isolation: Both speakerphones do a good job of isolating noise. I made recordings with a radio playing in the background. In both recordings my voice was clear and I was not able to hear the radio in the background. Where Jabra Speak 510 wins: - Audio Quality: The audio quality on the Anker PowerConf is good, but the Jabra 510 sounds noticeably better when listening to music or on a call. - Microphone Quality: While both speakers do a good job of noise isolation, my voice seemed to increase and decrease in volume on the Anker PowerConf recording (as if I was walking away from the speakerphone and back to again - except I was sitting still the whole time). The microphone quality difference is much less noticeable than the audio quality difference, but it's still there. Summary: Choose the Anker PowerConf if... - You're a minimalist and the thought of consolidating your portable battery charger and speakerphone is appealing. IMO, it's nice to be able to reduce the space (and weight) in my bag by only having one device. - You're looking for a good lower cost option (the Anker PowerConf is ~33% less than the Jabra Speak 510). Choose the Jabra Speak 510 if... - You or your clients/colleagues are audiophiles (and if that's the case, I'd recommend going with the Jabra Speak 710 as the speaker and microphone are significantly better). - You have other Jabra devices and enjoy customizing them using the Jabra Direct app. My choice: I already own a Jabra Speak 710 and it's going to stay in my bag moving forward (even though it means carrying a separate Anker PowerCore for charging). It's by no means a 1:1 comparison against the Anker PowerConf (the Jabra 710 costs more than twice as much as the Anker PowerConf), but the audio and microphone are definitely better. Many of my colleagues also own Jabra 710s, so it's nice to be able to daisy chain them together in large conference rooms. If money isn't an issue, then I'd recommend the Jabra Speak 710. However, if you're looking to stay in the sub-$200 price range, then my comments above stand.

Solid conference speaker at a good price
The Anker speakerphone has a nice heft, quality feel and a rubber ring around the base; and it gives every indication of having a long battery life per charge. The center panel contains controls for answer/end, volume, forward (for media), and mute. A light ring surrounds this and indicates which of the six mics is active plus Bluetooth pairing, and mute status. The top has an attractive pattern of holes, underneath which is a high quality speaker. A contrasting color ring around the middle contains the 6 mics, front panel controls for on/off and Bluetooth pairing plus an indicator light for each. The rear panel has jacks for USB power out, aux out (3.5mm), and USB-C for charging and maybe other functions I haven’t discovered yet. Sound quality is excellent with enough volume to cover a reasonably sized conference room. Power up and pairing happen very quickly, almost as fast is using the mobile phone speaker function. We’ve had no complaints from callers about our voice clarity or quality so assume it must be decent. It’s speakerphone is a handy size, about 5X5 and comes with a carrying case making it a solid choice for on-the-go use.

Great Speaker for Online Calls.
Great speaker. Why: 1. Clear sound out. Touch volume buttons work well. 2. Good microphones. Parties on the other end confirmed. 3. Nice low profile design. 4. Can keep it plugged into power or run off battery. 5. Cord length could be 1-2 feet longer. 6. Connectivity good. One related issue. I brought the identical model for the office. The speaker went crackly in less than a week. Exchanging it. Dropped to four stars. This version has a had outside case. Excellent. The latest model has fabric cover. That is not a great change go my use. Will collect more dust and be harder to clean. Not clear why Anker made that change: audio quality, cost, looks perhaps?

Great audio, nice build quality, which it had app support
I got this to replace a Poly speakerphone that had died - the second one in less than 2 years. I am on the phone all day for work so good sound quality and consistent connectivity and performance is key. This works great - my coworkers all say that sound quality is good, with decent blocking of background noise. I took a call while my lawn service was right outside my office window with a leaf blower and the folks on the other end could make my voice out clearly with no background noise. Build quality is a pleasant surprise - this has a metal casing, with a rubber foot that keeps it from sliding around on my desk. I would very happily travel with this if need be. I haven't tried this as an external battery beyond a quick test and I have power banks I prefer, but it's nice to have the option. My only issue is the lack of app control - having an Anker PowerConf 300 camera which offers significant customization through the AnkerWork app I was hoping this would have some more customizability - perhaps EQ, sound profiles, adjustment of noise cancellation, etc. - but it's a pretty plug and play affair on Windows at least.

5 Stars – Makes Workdays So Much Easier
The Anker PowerConf has made my workdays so much smoother. It was super easy to set up, connects instantly every time, and the battery lasts all day. The included carrying case makes it easy to take on the go, and as a bonus, it sounds great when used as a speaker for music. I wish I had ordered one sooner!

STOPPED WORKING AFTER ONLY 2 YEARS!
This speakerphone stopped working shortly after the 2 year warranty window. It was on my desk everyday and used quite often, then one day it just stopped working. I called the manufacturer and they refused to do help. Not even a courtesy. I understand the warranty expired, but the reason I'm writing this review is because I don't expect this product to stop working in such a short period of time. I now purchased another similar product from a different manufacturer. A shouldn't have to now purchase another device. I never write reviews, zero stars for this negative experience.
