It fit my Taurus Raging Bull. 44 perfectly. ...
It fit my Taurus Raging Bull .44 perfectly. The rail took a bit of work to get on, because the fit is very snug. It was so snug, some light gun oil would probably help get it on easier. I used a rubber mallet to tap it in. The fit was so tight, I think even without the screw, the friction alone would be able to hold it. You can mount all kinds of optics on this rail. I have a micro dot on mine, and it helped my target acquisition quite a bit.

Great rail for the Tracker 627
Installed on Tracker 627 Titanium. Needed to file off some material on what they call the "recoil lug" which is the feature that fits in the groove where the rear sight used to be. Fits great after a little work. Yes it will fly off the gun and I get that so it's going to a gunsmith to have a small machine screw drilled and tapped into the top strap. (The nylon strap is temporary just so I can take it to the range with some .38spl before the gunsmith).

If you have a Taurus Tracker, you need this rail.
This rail works very well on my Taurus. It allowed for mounting a nice red dot on my pistol. Installation was easy. It is difficult getting the rail perfectly flat with respect to the barrel. It is mostly a matter of adjusting the forward pin correctly

After a lot of searching and research this appeared to be the best mount for the Tracker series
Bought this for my Taurus Tracker 627 (.357 mag w/ 6.5" barrel. After a lot of searching and research this appeared to be the best mount for the Tracker series. I had to sand down the recoil lug to get it to fit in the rear sight groove, but that was nothing more then removing the paint so it would fit. Probably no more than .0001 of an inch. (I expected this, i read in a few forums where people were mounting this to models other than the .17hmr and .22, and this is what they had to do to get it to fit) Looks way better than the Taurus brand mount, which is hard to find since they don't manufacturer it anymore. Very happy with this mount. Maybe a little pricy, but it shouldn't warp like the B-square brand mount sold for these model revolvers, so worth the few extra bucks. Did I mention it looks badass? If you have a Tracker 627 (probably most models with the same type of frame and rear sight groove) this is the mount you want. If you are wanting to mount a full sized scope this mount won't work for you, but if you are mounting a red dot reticle (like I did) a barrel red dot sight, or mini scope this will do the job.

Fit my Tracker .17HMR perfectly!
I installed this mount on a Tracker .17 HMR revolver. The mount fit "like a glove". I tapped the mount in from the rear using a rubber hammer and it slide right in. Installed the set screws with a set of generic Allen wrenches I purchased from Amazon. Very snug. I placed a BSA 2.5x20 pistol scope in Weaver rings on the mount. Sighting the scope in was easy. Very pleased.

Did Not Fit Taurus Tracker 22
This item does NOT fit the Taurus Tracker 911 22 revolver. I had to narrow the tongue that fits into the rear-gun-sight groove with a Dremmel tool. I had to shave the width of the tounge about 1/10 of an inch to get it to fit into the groove of the revolver. This of course removed the blueing from the mount. It seemed to fit the gun okay after I ground the toungue.I bought this mount so I could install a Leapers 30 mm green/red dot sight. The Leapers sight has Weaver mounts which is supposed to attach directly to the Weigand mount, but there was no combination of "perpendicular grooves" on the Weigan mount that would accommodate the scope screws. I had to use the Dremmial tool again to elongate the perpendicular grooves to get the scope to fit the mount.I had read on the internet of this problem before I bought the mount, but I also read of some mounts working alright. It did NOT work for my Taurus 911 Tracker with a 6 inch barrel until I modified it quite a bit..

Needs Some Work to Fit Taurus Tracker 990
Bought this mount directly from Weigand and had the same problem with the lug on the rail being too wide for the rear sight slot by about 0.005 inch. It works great however after some minor filing of the lug to fit snug. And I would recommend using a hand file instead of a Dremel type tool to avoid removing too much of the lug width cause you can't put it back!Update:Just got back from the range with a UTG red/green dot quick detack sight I bought on Amazon and have to say it was definitely worth the effort filing down the rear sight slot lug to fit the 990 revolver. Also I forgot to mention that I used a few push pins (with the plastic heads) as a punch to remove the pin holding the rear sight of the 990. Not the best tool to use but it worked well.
