I love almost all of the Americolor gels, some don't turn out well though. This one works really well, but to get a good burgundy, start with a smudge of brown, add some maroon, and if it's not dark enough a tiny tiny drop of black.

I read a review saying the product was too light. I overcompensated and my icing was too dark. When I used less, I got the correct maroon color I wanted.
